Abstract

Abstract of the Project- The 15AFE project is an innovative personal safety device designed to enhance security for individuals, especially in vulnerable situations. Worn as a discreet, stylish chain, 15AFE integrates advanced safety technology, including GP5 and G5M modules, to provide continuous, real-time location tracking and emergency alerts. The device features dual 505 buttons: one sends an alert with live location updates to a registered contact, while the second initiates an immediate call, enabling two-way communication through an inbuilt microphone and speaker, with call recording for future reference. Additionally, 15AFE can be remotely activated by the registered contact, ensuring crucial audio and location data are shared even if the user cannot press the buttons. Unlike traditional mobile phone apps, 15AFE operates independently, offering a reliable, easily accessible solution without smartphone dependence. This unique blend of continuous tracking, remote activation, and real-time communication positions 15AFE as a groundbreaking safety tool, addressing rising concerns over personal security with both technical innovation and practical application.

Problem Statement-
In recent years, the safety of individuals, particularly women,
schoolchildren, and night shift workers, has become an increasing
concern due to a steady rise in kidnappings and violent attacks.
According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), India has
witnessed a significant surge in such incidents. In 2022, more than
1,00,000 kidnapping cases were reported across the country,
marking an alarming increase compared to previous years.
This trend has persisted into 2023, underscoring the urgency of
addressing public safety with effective measures. The data suggests
that these crimes often happen during vulnerable moments when
individuals are alone, commuting, or returning home late at night,
limiting their ability to quickly alert others or seek help.
Despite efforts by law enforcement and various safety initiatives,
critical gaps remain, particularly in real-time communication and
location tracking during emergencies.
Traditional safety methods often rely on manual intervention, which
can be difficult or impossible in high-stress situations where victims
are restrained or incapacitated.
Addressing this growing issue requires innovative, user-friendly
safety solutions that provide reliable communication channels and

ISAFE is a revolutionary safety device designed to be worn as an
elegant chain. This discreet yet powerful device is equipped with
cutting-edge features to ensure unparalleled safety.
1. SOS Button for Immediate Alerts:
• Imagine feeling threatened and needing urgent help. With
ISAFE, simply press the SOS button, and it instantly sends an
alert message along with your live location to a registered
phone number and nearby patrol unit. These updates are
sent every minute, helping your loved ones track your
location and get help quickly.
2. Communication Button:
• If you find yourself in a dangerous situation where you need
to speak with someone, pressing the communication button
on ISAFE will automatically call the registered phone
number. You can then talk directly through the device's
built-in microphone and speakers, allowing you to share
important details and receive immediate assistance. The call
is recorded for future reference .

can call the device directly, and it will automatically answer
the call. This activates the microphone, letting them hear
the surroundings and providing live location updates to help
with a quick rescue.

1. SOS Button Activation: When the first 505 button on the chain is
pressed, it sends an immediate alert message along with the live
location to the registered mobile number using the GSM, GPS
modules and a Sim/E-Sim/ loT Module.
2. Second SOS Button: Pressing the second button places an
immediate call to the registered mobile number through the GSM
module. The inbuilt microphone and speaker enable
communication, allowing the user to speak with their contact. The
call is recorded for future reference using 50 Card.

data.
3. Microcontroller (Arduino Nano) -Controls the operation of the
device and processes inputs from the SOS buttons.
4. Push Buttons- For triggering SOS alerts and initiating the
emergency call.
5. Microphone- For capturing audio during communication with the
registered contact.
6. Speaker- For audio output, allowing the user to hear the
registered contact.
