Specification
Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of electric vehicle charging systems and, in particular, to a wireless vehicle charging system designed to optimize solar energy utilization for efficient vehicle charging.
BACKGROUND
[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Conventional electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions typically rely on wired connections, which can be cumbersome and restrict mobility, especially in urban areas where parking space is limited. Furthermore, these syst , Claims:1. A wireless vehicle charging system (100), the system (100) comprising:
a body (102) comprising:
a light dependent resistor (104) configured to determine an optimum angle for receiving maximum sunlight,
a motorized actuator (106) configured to position a solar panel (108) at the optimum angle, wherein the solar panel (108) is configured to fetch solar energy from the sunlight, and
a battery (110) configured to store an electrical energy transduced from the solar energy;
an ultrasonic sensor (112) configured to detect presence of a vehicle in proximity to the body (102); and
a processor (114) communicatively coupled to the ultrasonic sensor (112), wherein the processor (114) is configured to:
actuate a wireless charging pad (116) installed in a close proximity to the body (102) to charge the vehicle.
2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the vehicle corresponds to an electric vehicle having an auxiliary battery.
