Abstract

Winding device (1) for winding a spun yarn (2), in particular a melt spun yarn made of a plurality of filaments, having a spool spindle (6) by means of which at least one spun yarn (2) can be wound on a spool sleeve (8) to form a spool package, having at least one traversing device (4) through which a spun yarn (2) can be guided back and forth along a traversing stroke and can be wound onto a rotating spool sleeve (8) in a thus resulting stroke width (H), and having at least two yarn stops (14, 15) for changing the yarn movement in a stroke reversal of the traversing device (4) and having a drive device (50) for adjusting the position of the at least two yarn stops (14, 15) in opposite directions.
