Abstract

The present invention is a wearable disaster emergency communication device designed to provide reliable communication, environmental monitoring, and location tracking in disaster and emergency scenarios where traditional communication infrastructure may be unavailable or compromised. The device incorporates a dual-mode communication system, enabling both short-range mesh networking and long-range satellite connectivity, allowing users to communicate with nearby devices or transmit distress signals and GPS coordinates to emergency responders without relying on cellular networks. Equipped with a variety of environmental sensors, the device detects hazardous conditions, including smoke, toxic gases, extreme temperatures, and humidity, and alerts users accordingly. The device’s power management system integrates multiple energy sources, such as a rechargeable battery, solar cells, and kinetic energy harvesting, to ensure continuous operation under demanding conditions. A compact, rugged, and wearable form factor
