VISUAL INSPECTION ASSISTANCE DEVICE

Abstract

Provided is a visual inspection assistance device with which it is possible to improve the reliability of visual inspection. The visual inspection assistance device comprises: a transportation device for transporting tablets subjected to visual inspection; cameras 83, 84 for imaging the tablets being transported; an inspection unit 858 for determining the quality of the tablets on the basis of image data obtained by the cameras 83, 84; display units 85b, 85c disposed at positions visible from an inspector performing the visual inspection; a display control unit 854 capable of displaying, on the display units 85b, 85c, information for identifying a defective tablet; and a transportation control unit 7 for temporarily stopping the transportation of tablets by the transportation device 4 when a defect determination has been made by the inspection unit 858. The inspector is able to effectively utilize the specifics displayed on the display units 85b, 85c to easily identify a defective tablet, and to more accurately remove a defective tablet that has temporarily stopped. It is thereby possible to improve the reliability of visual inspection.
