TWO COMPONENT (2K) ACRYLIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING A THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE

Abstract

The present disclosure is directed to a two component (2K) composition comprising: a first component comprising: a) at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer; and, a second component comprising: b) at least one radical generating initiator, wherein said composition further comprises c) at least one thermoplastic polyurethane obtained from the reaction of: I) at least one polyether polyol having a weight average molecular weight of from 400 to 4000 g/mol, a polydispersity (PD) of less than 3 and a bio-based carbon content of at least 50%; II) at least one polyol having a molecular weight of less than 500 g/mol; III) optionally at least one further active hydrogen compound; and, IV) at least one polyisocyanate compound, wherein in said reaction the molar ratio of hydroxyl groups to NCO groups is at least 1:1 and preferably from 1:1 to 2:1.
