TERMINAL DEVICE SCHEDULING METHOD AND APPARATUS THEREOF

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a terminal device scheduling method and an apparatus thereof, applicable to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: a network device can determine a physical layer channel/signal processing capability of a terminal device according to a random access message and/or random access message feedback sent by the terminal device, so that subsequent transmission of the terminal device can be scheduled in a targeted manner according to the processing capability of the terminal device. On one hand, no additional PRACH resources are required to indicate and determine the physical layer channel/signal processing capability of the terminal device, thereby saving PRACH resources and also avoiding a PRACH resource selection conflict which results in reducing the success rate of random access and increasing the random access delay; on the other hand, for terminal devices of different processing capabilities, different resources can be allocated to subsequent transmission of the terminal devices, so that the terminal devices perform message transmission by scheduling reasonably allocated resources, thereby increasing the resource utilization rate.
