Abstract

The invention relates to a technical solution aimed at addressing the challenges faced by students who are studying in a state different from their home state and are consequently denied access to scholarship benefits due to their current educational institution's lack of registration on their home slate's portal. The proposed system, named "Educate Kid," provides a comprehensive cross-state verification process that enables students to access scholarship benefits regardless of their current institution's registration status. This solution integrates a multi-user platform including Students, Institutions, and Admins, each with tailored functionalities to manage and facilitate the verification process efficiently. Students can submit applications and track their verification status, institutions can process and verify student applications, and admins can oversee and approve both institutional and student verifications across state boundaries. The technology stack utilized includes React JS, Node JS, Express JS, and MongoDB.

Specification

THE FIELD OF INVENTION (PACKAGING INDUSTRY)
This invention pertains to the field of educational technology and administrative systems, specifically focusing on cross-state verification processes in scholarship management and the accessibility of benefits for students studying away from their home state.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Historically, students studying outside their home state face significant barriers in accessing scholarship benefits due to their current institution not being registered on their home state's scholarship portal. This lack of cross-state coordination results in delays and denials of benefits that are rightfully due to these students. Existing systems fail to provide an integrated approach to manage and verify student and institutional data across state boundaries, thus necessitating the development of a solution that facilitates such verification processes effectively.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The invention introduces a robust technical solution for cross-state student verification and scholarship management through a multi-user platform. The platform consists of three primary user roles: Students, Institutions, and Admins, each with distinct functionalities to ensure seamless verification and access to scholarship benefits. Students can fill out and submit verification forms, check the availability of scholarships, and track the status of their applications. Institutions can submit verification requests, process student records, and manage verification statuses. Admins, operating at the state level, have the capability to verify institutional and student records, manage cross-state verification processes, and oversee the status of student applications within their jurisdiction. The system utilizes React JS for the frontend, Node JS and Express JS for the backend, and MongoDB for database management.

The solution is implemented as a web-based platform with three primary user interfaces: 1. Student User Interface: Allows students to log in, view available scholarships, fill out and submit application forms, and check verification statuses. Students can also edit their profiles and applications as needed. 2. Institution User Interface: Enables institutions to fill out verification forms, manage and verify student records, and check the status of submitted verification requests.
Institutions can also update their profiles and application forms. 3. Admin User Interface: Provides state admins with tools to verify institutional registrations, process student verification forms (both in-state and cross-state), and maintain records of student verification statuses.
The system is built using React JS for the user interface, Node JS and Express JS for server side logic, and MongoDB for data storage and management.

A cross-state student verification system that enables students studying in a different state from their home state to access scholarship benefits by integrating a comprehensive verification process.
2. A multi-user platform comprising Students, Institutions, and Admins with distinct - functionalities for managing scholarship applications and verification processes. 3. A system architecture utilizing React JS for the frontend, Node JS and Express JS for backend services, and MongoDB for data management to facilitate efficient scholarship verification and management across state boundaries
