Abstract

System and Method for Real-Time Location Tracking of Legal Professionals in Court Premises Using Barcode Technology ABSTRACT This invention relates to a system and method designed to facilitate the real-time location tracking of legal professionals, such as lawyers, within the premises of a high court or other large legal institutions that contain multiple benches. The system utilizes barcode technology, wherein each lawyer is assigned a unique barcode that is embedded with identification details linked to their profile in a central database. This barcode is either printed on a physical medium or digitally displayed on a device carried by the lawyer. The central tracking system, which is the core of the invention, employs a combination of advanced technologies such as GPS, Wi-Fi triangulation, and Bluetooth beacons to continuously monitor the movements of the lawyer within the court premises. This system ensures that the lawyer’s current location is accurately recorded and updated in real-time. When an authorized user, such as a client, colleague, or court personnel, needs to locate the lawyer, they can scan the barcode using a handheld device, such as a smartphone or tablet, equipped with a dedicated application.
