Field of Invention
The present invention relates to the medical emergency kit. More particularly, a solar powered based first aid kit with integrated diagnostic tools and voice assistance.
Background of the Invention
First-aid kits generally contain items intended to be used as a means to quickly and effectively respond to accidents or injuries when away from traditional medical emergency facilities. Such kits are intended to be used either by the injured party or to aid someone else who has been injured. To be effective therefore, a first-aid kit must be lightweight, portable, accessible, and must contain the necessary equipment to treat accidents or injuries that may occur based on the situation and environment.

The drawback in the above prior art is that it cannot track the availability of supplies in the box instead needs manual tracking.

The above prior art has a limitation in that it requires human tracking and is unable to track the quantity of supplies in the first aid.
Different problems from the prior art are solved by the present invention. The invention solves key issues like power dependency, manual supply tracking, lack of personalized care, absence of automatic health monitoring, inadequate emergency communication, insufficient guidance, and lack of incident documentation found in prior art.
• The conventional first aid boxes fail to provide an automated system for monitoring the provision of medical supplies, requiring manual inspection that leads to unawareness about when essential stock is running low.
• Available smart first aid kits could provide only the same response part for all emergencies and do not care about the general medical conditions of the person such as diabetes or allergy.
• Existing kits follow the traditional health monitoring method and demand users to manually activate the emergency alarm.
• Many smart boxes lack a direct communication feature with emergency services.
• Older system versions do not provide a health emergency walkthrough with step-by-step instructions, giving users no clue about what to expect. Previous solutions do not record emergencies for the future and for medical reference.
The present invention overcomes the drawbacks of prior arts by integrating diagnostic tools and voice assistance in a medical kit.
Objectives of the Invention
The prime objective of the present invention is to provide a solar powered based first aid kit.
Another object of this invention is to provide the solar powered based first aid kit with integrated diagnostic tools and voice assistance.
Another object of this invention is to provide the solar powered based first aid kit that includes weight sensors to be able to scan each compartment and inform the user about low supplies, offering around the clock readiness via an automated system.
Another object of this invention is to provide the solar powered based first aid kit where a user's immune system to access standardized individualized profiles containing medical histories, allergies and current medications, adjusting the way it interacts and responds in emergency situations to each of these unique profiles to ensure better care.
Another object of this invention is to provide the solar powered based first aid kit where the kit works together with wearable devices that monitor vital signs such as heart rate and oxygen levels, emergency Mode is activated in response to major health anomalies (like irregular heart beat) and a shift from an alert to proactive medical response position.
Another object of this invention is to provide the solar powered based first aid kit where the AI based voice assistant guide during an emergency delivers real-time, customized, on-demand instructions specific to the medical situation (e.g., how to perform CPR or treat a burn/cut).
Yet another object of this invention is to provide the solar powered based first aid kit that creates a comprehensive post-incident report distinguishing that will detail what was the user´s state and actions and how the overall emergency response was, it helps healthcare providers during follow-up care.
Yet another object of this invention is to provide the solar powered based first aid kit that solves major problems of power dependency, manual supply tracking, non-personalized care and monitors automatic health documentation.
Still yet another object of this invention is to provide the solar powered based first aid kit that uses GPS to send the user's location and situation details to pre-listed emergency contacts and services, expediting help.
These and other objects of the present invention will be apparent from the drawings and descriptions herein. Every object of the invention is attained by at least one embodiment of the present invention.
Summary of the Invention
In one aspect of the present invention provides the solar powered based first aid kit with integrated diagnostic tools and voice assistance where the users can personalize emergency protocols.
In one of the aspects, the present invention a weight sensor in the kit scans each compartment to monitor medical supplies and will inform the user when any item goes out of stock, the users can access individual kits by giving them voice commands via custom names or with general instructions to open test tools like glucose meters pulse oximeters etc.
In another aspect, in the present invention, the AI symptom checker prompts the user to answer questions about their symptoms and gives recommendations on what actions the user should take based on these answers.
In another aspect, in the present invention, the kit goes into Emergency Mode if its synced wearable device picks up on a health anomaly, this mode can also be manually activated by pushing a button or with user's voice.
In another aspect of the present invention, once an emergency Mode begins, the kit will send user GPS location and emergency details to pre-listed contacts and emergency services, offering step by step assistance through voice guidance for limited emergency situations.

The present invention discloses the solar powered based first aid kit with integrated diagnostic tools and voice assistance to enhance emergency medical care. This invention includes inventory management to ensure the proper availability of all the essentials like medicines, bandages, diagnostic tools and other additional components. It features automatic symptom detection through wearable device sync, profile-based emergency protocols and an AI-driven symptom checker.
In describing the preferred embodiment of the present invention, reference will be made herein to like numerals refer to like features of the invention.
According to preferred embodiment of the invention, referring to Figure 1, the solar powered based first aid kit (1) with integrated diagnostic tools and voice assistance comprises of blue tooth module (2), weight sensor (3), symptom checker (4), connected diagnostic tool (5), power unit (6), communication unit (7), microcontroller (8), display screen (9), emergency button (10), compartments (11) and wearable devices (12). The power unit (6) includes solar power and battery, and communication unit (7) includes GPS, microphone (7a), speaker (7b).
The weight sensor (3) amplifies the low electric output of Load cells and then this amplified & digitally converted signal is fed into the microcontroller (8) to derive the weight.
The power unit (6) includes solar power and battery and for solar energy conversion system for battery charging, a dc-dc converter is installed between the solar panel and the battery to charge it at a controlled voltage. Standard photovoltaic solar panels (PV), a deep cycle rechargeable battery, a Single-Ended Primary Inductance Converter (SEPIC) converter, and a controller make up the solar battery charger's major parts.
The connected diagnostic tools (5) include a thermometer, blood pressure monitoring, pulse meter and glucometer. Other features that may be offered depending on the device can include an ECG monitor, urine test strips, pregnancy tests (which may require urination), and allergy test strips. The tools can be integrated through wireless connectivity, smartphone apps, cloud-based platforms or voice commands. A smart first aid kit if all diagnostic features are included it can be used as health assessment and life saver.
According to another embodiment of the invention, the solar powered based first aid kit (1) with integrated diagnostic tools and voice assistance uses a weight sensor (3) in the kit (1) scans each compartment (11) to monitor medical supplies and will inform the user when any item goes out of stock. Users can access individual kit by giving them voice commands via custom names or with general instructions to open test tools like glucose meters pulse oximeters etc. The AI symptom checker (4) prompts the user to answer questions about their symptoms and gives recommendations on what actions the user should take based on these answers. The kit (1) is powered by power unit (6) having solar energy, with a backup battery for continuous operation during emergencies.
According to another embodiment of the invention, referring to Figure 2, the solar powered based first aid kit (1) with integrated diagnostic tools and voice assistance works in the following steps:
• Initial set-up: Upon first activation, the solar power based first aid kit (1) must be personalized by building different profiles for the different members of the family. This profile will comprise important medical details such as current prescriptions, medical history, allergies and emergency contacts and displayed on the display screen (9). For example, a diabetic user in an emergency may prioritize glucose management.
• Inventory management: With the help of integrated weight sensor (3) each compartment's (11) inventory is scanned. This feature is to make sure the continuous availability of essential medical supplies. In case of shortage of any medicine or item this system alerts the user with a list of needed supplies. This ensures proper stuffing and preparedness of the smart first aid kit (1).
• Voice controlled access: For the ease of use, the kit (1) features voice activated access. Opens the compartments (11) based on the voice commands.
• "Cut/Burn/Headache/Fever/Normal"- Opens normal first aid compartment (Bandages, wipes, Antihistamines, Tweezers, Scissors, Pain relievers, burn cream, Anti-sceptic liquid etc);
"Person's name"- Opens compartments (11) pre-customized by the user; "Diagnose"- Gives access to the diagnostic tools (5) like pulse-oximeter, BP monitoring machine, glucose meter etc.
"Emergency mode"- If not then it may enter the emergency mode for manual operation.
• AI symptom checker (4): The AI symptom checker (4) on the kit (1) is triggered when a health problem occurs. To determine the degree of their illness, it poses a series of questions to the user. The user can reply with information on pain levels, dizziness and other signs via the voice assistant. The user is assisted in selecting the best course of action based on their symptoms by this AI-powered assessment.
• Emergency detection: The first aid kit (1) promptly switches into "Emergency Mode" whenever the synchronised wearable device (12) notices a serious health aberration, such as an inconsistent heartbeat or low oxygen levels. The user can also manually enter this mode by pressing a button (10) or by speaking a command through microphone (7a), like "Call for help" that will be heard through a speaker (7b). When in this mode, the kit (1) is designed to provide rapid medical assistance.
• Communication system: When in emergency mode, the user's emergency contacts and emergency services are directly contacted via the first aid kit (1). It transmits the user's exact location and a message outlining the circumstances owing to its GPS capabilities.
• The kit (1) also uses an AI-powered pre-fed system, to provide voice-guided medical advice. The kit (1) offers step-by-step, real-time emergency guidance based on the user's state. For instance, the kit (1) might provide instructions on how to give an aspirin or do CPR in the event of a heart emergency. It will demonstrate or explain how to use burn ointments or bandages in cases of burns or cuts.
• Post incident report: Once the issue is resolved, a detailed post incident report is maintained by the first aid kit (1), containing the patient's state during the emergency, the steps taken and data noted from the diagnostic tools (5) used. After the emergency, healthcare providers can assess this report for follow-up care or additional medical analysis, upholding continuity of care.
• Solar powered operation: As the first aid kit (1) is solar-powered, it's a convenient option for places where electricity is scarce. In order to ensure ongoing operation in an emergency, even in the absence of sunlight, it also has a backup battery. Without requiring outside power, this renewable energy source maintains the system's longstanding functionality and keeps it operating proficiently.
According to another embodiment of the invention, the kit (1) has following features that set it apart from prior arts:
1. Energy Independence: This kit (1) is powered by solar energy with a backup battery, ensuring continuous operation even in areas with limited or no electricity.
2. Automatic Inventory Management: Unlike existing kits that may not track supplies, the kit (1) uses a weight sensor (3) to scan compartments and notify the user when medical supplies are low or missing. This ensures that the kit (1) is always stocked and ready for emergencies without manual tracking.
3. Personalized Emergency Protocols: This kit (1) allows users to create profiles that store detailed medical histories, allergies, and current medications. It can then customize emergency protocols based on individual needs.
4. AI Symptom Checker (4): This kit (1) includes an AI-driven symptom checker (4) that asks users questions about their condition (e.g., pain levels) and recommends appropriate actions. According to another embodiment of the invention, the kit (1) can be used domestically or commercially. It may be used for rapid injury or condition assessment and automatic supply management. By incorporating these features, a First-Aid kit (1) could significantly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of emergency response on construction sites, domestic places and medical places potentially saving lives and reducing downtime.
Although a preferred embodiment of the invention has been illustrated and described, it will at once be apparent to those skilled in the art that the invention includes advantages and features over and beyond the specific illustrated construction. Accordingly it is intended that the scope of the invention be limited solely by the scope of the hereinafter appended claims, and not by the foregoing specification, when interpreted in light of the relevant prior art.

A solar powered based first aid kit (1) with integrated diagnostic tools and voice assistance comprises of a Bluetooth module (2), a weight sensor (3), a symptom checker (4), a connected diagnostic tool (5), a power unit (6), a communication unit (7), a microcontroller (8), a display screen (9), an emergency button (10), a compartment(s) (11) and a wearable device (12), wherein the power unit (6) includes solar power and a battery; the communication unit (7) includes a GPS, a microphone (7a), and a speaker (7b).

The solar powered based first aid kit (1) with integrated diagnostic tools and voice assistance as claimed in claim 1, wherein the weight sensor (3) amplifies the low electric output of Load cells and then this amplified & digitally converted signal is fed into the microcontroller (8) to derive the weight.
