Abstract
ABSTRACT
A remote patient monitoring system (100), comprising a motion sensor operatively connected to a microcontroller, wherein the motion sensor detects nearby movement and activates or increases light intensity when motion is detected, and dims the lights or turns them off when no motion is present, a light-dependent resistor (LDR) for adjusting light intensity based on ambient lighting conditions, a fault detection module including a flame sensor and other failure detection components, configured to monitor the operational status of the street light and detect faults, malfunctions, or fire hazards, wherein the faults trigger a real-time notification sent via a wireless communication module, a wireless communication module configured to transmit data to a centralized cloud-based platform for remote monitoring; and a user interface connected to the cloud platform, allowing for real-time control, monitoring, and fault notification of the street lights.

Specification
Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of field of automated urban lighting systems, and in particular, to a smart street light system that integrates IoT-based power saving mechanisms and fault detection capabilities to enhance energy efficiency and maintenance responsiveness.
BACKGROUND
[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Although some automated lighting solutions exist, these are limited in scope, lacking robust IoT-based fault detection and energy management features th , Claims:1. A smart street light system (100), comprising:
a motion sensor operatively connected to a microcontroller, wherein the motion sensor detects nearby movement and activates or increases light intensity when motion is detected, and dims the lights or turns them off when no motion is present;
a light-dependent resistor (LDR) for adjusting light intensity based on ambient lighting conditions;
a fault detection module including a flame sensor and other failure detection components, configured to monitor the operational status of the street light and detect faults, malfunctions, or fire hazards, wherein the faults trigger a real-time notification sent via a wireless communication module;
a wireless communication module configured to transmit data to a centralized cloud-based platform for remote monitoring; and
a user interface connected to the cloud platform, allowing for real-time control, monitoring, and fault notification of the street lights.
2. The smart street light system (100) as claimed in claim 1, whe
