Abstract
ABSTRACT: Pollution is adding contaminants into the nature that causes a huge change in our environment.Air pollution is one of the highest mortality risk factor. The sources of air pollution in the industries are power plants, chamber process, cleaning, burning of materials, etc. and the other factor for air pollution are fertilizers and pesticide in agriculture, Industrial emissions of toxic substances.A variety of pollutants emitted into the air such as sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, ammonia and volatile organic compounds. Air pollution in environment is a major concern and monitoring and management of it to be addressed to protect the human health from the air pollution effects. In the year of 2016 , The Delhi city experienced worst Air quality index range falls from 101 to 105 , The people are suffering from several respiratory and heart issues along with cancer due to increasing air pollution. This device is composed ofLM 35 temperature sensor,MQ 9gas sensor, MQ 6 dust sensor, and DHT 11 humiditysensor for monitoring the air quality. The gas sensor MQ9 senses the harmful gases present in the environment. MQ 6 dust sensor senses the PM levels (PM 10 and PM 2.5) in the atmosphere. The sensor values are evaluated for the Air Quality Index (AQI) and display it on the LCD display. In order to improve the real-time performance of the system, an loT a computing technology are being used. The light turns on to indicate the pollutants within the safe limit when the presence of harmful gases and PM levels exceeds a certain threshold level. This system is essential for day to day living places and adopt measures and control air pollution which increase human safety.

PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
I. The purpose of this system to detect harmful gases like carb·Jn monoxide (C02),
nitrogen dioxide (N02), sulfur dioxide (S02), ozone (03), and volatile organic
compounds (VOCs) in the air. To track pollutant levels.
2. Detects fine particular matter specifically parameter 2.5 & parameter I 0, which are
particles with" diameters of 2.5 & I 0 micrometre or less. Thes~ particles can cause
respiratory issues, especially in sensitive population
3. A microcontroller collect data from sensor, process it and transmit it to cloud platform
or local device.
4. Humidity sensor measure air moisture while soil moisture sensor gauge water content
in soil. These sensor provide data that combined with tem~·erature readings can
indicate overall air quality on soil conditions.
5. The system dashboard present data in a clear visual format use1s can view live data,
historical trends and receive alters on desktop on mobile app.
FORM2
DESCRIPTION
I. In recent years, air pollution, dust particles, and fluctuating :noisture levels have
become significant environmental and health concerns, particularly in urban and
industrialized areas. Poor air quality can exacerbate respiratory conditions, trigger
allergies, and lead to long-term health issues. Similarly, high levels of dust particles
pose risks for people working in construction, agriculture, and other industries.
Additionally, moisture levels are crucial for maintaining indoor 2ir quality, preventing
mold growth, and ensuring comfort.
2. To address these challenges, a smart monitoring system that continuously measures
and reports air quality, dust particle concentration, and moisture !eve is is needed. Such
a system would provide real-time data, allowing for timely interventions to improve
air quality, reduce health risks, and optimize environmental cond:tions.
The objectives of this invention arc,
I. To provide continuous ,real time monitoring of air
quality ,humidity,moisture level.
2. To allow the sharing of air quality data with communities.
SUMMARY
The smart monitoring system project is designed to continuously
measure and report on air quality, dust particles, and moisture levels to help improve
environmental conditions and public health. Utilizing sensors for detecting harmful
gases (such as C02, N02, S02, o,, and VOCs), fine particulate matter (PM2.5 and
PM! 0), and humidity, the system collects data, which is processed by a microcontroller.
This information is then transmitted to a dashboard for easy access on desktop or
mobile devices, allowing users to view live data, track historical trends, and receive
alerts when pollutant or moisture levels reach critical thresholds. With applications in
homes, offices, and industrial areas, this system aims to provide an efficient, accessible
tool for managing air quality and creating safer, healthier spaces.
CONCLUSION
The Smart Environmental Monitoring System efficiently tracks air quality, dust
particles, and moisture levels, providing real-time insights that empower users to
maintain healthier, safer, and more comfortable environments. \Vith its continuous
monitoring and instant alerts, the system helps reduce health risks by ensuring ideal air
quality and humidity levels in both residential and commercial spaces, ultimately
promoting overall well-being and environmental awareness.

!.The system provides up-to-the-minute data on air quality,
dust levels, and moisture, helping users stay informed about
current environmental conditions.
2.Used in agricultural applications, moisture monitoring helps
farmers optimize water usage, which conserves resources and
supports the farming practices.
3.The system provides data to help organizations reduce
pollution levels, making environmental healthier places to
live and work.
