Specification

Description:The Smart Basket (100) is constructed from a lightweight, durable material that is non-toxic and safe for
food contact, such as BPA-free plastic or stainless steel. It features a multi-layer design, with an inner layer
(102) that stores water and an outer layer (101) that holds the fruits and vegetables. The basket includes
perforations (104) to allow for proper air circulation, which is crucial for preventing moisture build-up, the
excess moisture is collected in the inner layer through outlets (103). Integrated into the basket are
compressors. These compressors are placed in the inner layer (102) and the walls of the basket contains
outlets (104), providing consistent cooling for the contents.The inner layer (102) can be easily removed and
reinserted, allowing for maintenance.The basket is designed with adjustable vents (104) that allow users to
control the airflow based on the type of produce stored.A removable moisture-absorbing liner is incorporated
at the outer layer (101) of the basket. This liner can be replaced as needed to help maintain optimal humidity
levels, preventing excess moisture that leads to rot. The Smart Basket (100) is available in various sizes to
accommodate different quantities of fruits and vegetables. , Claims:1. A Smart Basket (100) comprising;
i. an insulated multi-layer structure having an inner layer (102);
ii. configured to store water and an outer layer (101);
iii. configured to hold produce; a plurality of perforations (104);
iv. adjustable vents for airflow regulation, maintaining a stable temperature and humidity;
Integrated moisture outlets (103);
v. designed to collect and remove excess moisture from the storage chamber; a removable
moisture-absorbing liner (101);
vi. positioned within the outer layer to prevent the build-up of humidity and reduce spoilage; a
Smart Basket (100);
vii. available in various sizes to accommodate different quantities of fruits and vegetables;
2. A Smart Basket (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein: the passive cooling system located in the inner
layer (102) to provide consistent cooling without requiring external power sources;
3. A Smart Basket (100) of claim 1, wherein: the adjustable vent (104) allow customizable airflow
settings based on the specific requirements of different fruits and vegetables stored within the basket;
a non-toxic, food-safe material such as BPA-free plastic or stainless steel, ensuring durability and
safety for direct food contact; and
4. A Smart Basket (100) of claim 1, wherein: the inner layer (102) is detachable, allowing for easy
maintenance, cleaning, and replacement of the water; a modular design with the option to use any
transparent cover or lid to enclose the stored produce, thereby preventing contamination and
maintaining hygiene.
