A sipper carriage device for bicycles comprises of, a frame 9 installed with a C-shaped clamping unit 1, a plate 3 arranged with the clamping unit 1 in a vertical orientation, a horizontal rod 4 protruding outwards from the plate 3 and handle of the bicycle in view of being translated on the slider as per requirement of a user riding the bicycle, an artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 5 integrated with a processor for determining dimension the bottle. an expandable ring 6 attached to an end of the rod 4, a L-shaped telescopically operated shaft 7 integrated with a lid 8 arranged on the plate 3 to initially extend up to the accommodated bottle an extendable bar integrated with a panel mounted on the plate 3 to place the panel at the bottom side of the bottle in order to provide stability to the bottle.

[0001] The present invention relates to a sipper carriage device for bicycles that is capable of carrying a sipper bottle on a bicycle in a secured manner by determining dimension the bottle, thereby reducing the physical effort of the user while carrying the bottle along with riding bicycle.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Generally, sipper bottles were carried by people on bicycle for convenience and hydration during rides. Sipper bottles allows cyclist to stay hydrated without having to stop or slow down significantly. People use to hold the sipper bottle in hand while riding the bicycle. However, the method is quite inefficient as there is chance of chances of spilling out of contents of the bottle out, while the bicycle is in motion. So, they use an equipment that carry a sipper bottle on a bicycle in a secured manner.

[0003] Conventionally, some ways were used for carrying a sipper bottle on a bicycle. People use to hold the sipper bottle in hand while riding the bicycle. However, the method is quite inefficient as there is chance of chances of spilling out of contents of the bottle out, while the bicycle is in motion. Therefore, they also take the assistance of another concerned person to carry a sipper bottle on a bicycle. But the method is quite labor-intensive as well as inefficient.

[0004] US5829771A discloses about an invention that includes a foldable bicycle carriage including a base frame, a support frame, two upper folders, two lower folders, a drag link, a wheel shaft, two wheels, a base board and a cover. Each of the upper and lower folders includes a frame seat for securing the upper and lower folders respectively under a rear edge of the support frame and on a rear edge of the base frame. The upper and lower folders can be inward folded to reduce the volume of the entire frame body of the carriage so as to facilitate the storage and transferring thereof. An insertion pin seat is disposed at the front end of the drag link and is directly tightened by a manually operable plum blossom-shaped thread sleeve. The insertion pin seat is further located by a safety pin. The bicycle carriage can be easily assembled and conveniently used.

[0005] DE102006031690A1 discloses about an invention that includes this support device is designed for at least one bicycle and suitable for installation in a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger car, wherein the arranged in a rear of the car carrier is provided from a rest position to an operating position and vice versa movable and with taillights. In order to optimize this support device, in the rest position of the support device, the tail lights in the passenger car can be stowed in a storage position, whereas the rear lights are combustible in the operating position of the support device in an operative position.

[0006] Conventionally, many devices have been developed that are capable of carrying a sipper bottle on a bicycle. However, these devices are incapable of carrying a sipper bottle on a bicycle in a secured manner by monitoring dimension the bottle, and fails in reducing the physical effort of the user in carrying the bottle along with riding bicycle. Additionally, these existing devices also lack in placing lid of the bottle on mouth portion of the bottle, and are insufficient in avoiding chances of spilling out of contents of the bottle out, while the bicycle is in motion.

[0007] In order to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, there exists a need in the art to develop a device that is capable of providing a means to carry a sipper bottle on a bicycle in a secured manner by monitoring dimension the bottle, thereby reducing the physical effort of the user in carrying the bottle along with riding bicycle. In addition, the developed device should also place lid of the bottle on mouth portion of the bottle, only in case the lid of bottle is detected to be missed, thereby avoiding chances of spilling out of contents of the bottle out, while the bicycle is in motion.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

[0008] The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art.

[0009] An object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable of providing a means to carry a sipper bottle on a bicycle in a secured manner by monitoring dimension the bottle, thereby reducing the physical effort of the user in carrying the bottle along with riding bicycle.

[0010] Another object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable of placing lid of the bottle on mouth portion of the bottle, only in case the lid of bottle is detected to be missed, thereby avoiding chances of spilling out of contents of the bottle out, while the bicycle is in motion.

[0011] Another object of the present invention is to develop a device that is reliable in nature.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0013] The present invention relates to a sipper carriage device for bicycles that is capable of providing a means to carry a sipper bottle on a bicycle in a secured manner by monitoring dimension the bottle, thereby reducing the physical effort of the user in carrying the bottle along with riding bicycle. Additionally, the proposed device also provides reliability and works in an efficient manner.

[0014] According to an embodiment of the present invention, a sipper carriage device for bicycles comprises of, a frame installed with a C-shaped clamping unit, wherein internal periphery of the unit is installed with plurality of suction cups that are dedicated towards adherence of the unit with handle portion of the bicycle in a secured manner, a plate arranged with the clamping unit in a vertical orientation, wherein the plate is installed with a motorized slider that is mounted with a horizontal rod protruding outwards from the plate and handle of the bicycle in view of being translated on the slider as per requirement of a user riding the bicycle, and an artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module integrated with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images of a sipper bottle which needs to be carried on the bicycle in view of determining dimension the bottle.

[0015] According to another embodiment of the present invention, the proposed device further comprises of, an expandable ring attached to an end of the rod, configured with plurality of links overlapped with each other via motorized hinges and initially stored in a stowed state, to deploy the links in a manner that the ring is expanded/contracted in view of accommodating the sipper bottle in a secured manner while the bicycle is in motion, a L-shaped telescopically operated shaft integrated with a lid arranged on the plate to initially extend up to the accommodated bottle an extendable bar integrated with a panel mounted on the plate to extend up to base portion of the accommodated bottle to place the panel at the bottom side of the bottle in order to provide stability to the bottle, if the lid integrated with the bar applies more pressure while the bicycle meets with any type of road irregularities, and a battery is associated with the device that powers all electrical and electronically operated components of the device.

[0023] The device disclosed herein, comprises of a frame 9 installed with a C-shaped clamping unit 1, wherein internal periphery of the unit 1 is installed with plurality of suction cups 2 that are dedicated towards adherence of the unit 1 with handle portion of the bicycle in a secured manner. The suction cups 2 are used to create a vacuum seal between the unit 1 and the handle. When the suction cups 2 are pressed against the handle, the initial contact creates a seal between the cup and the surface, this seals off the area within the suction cup. The suction cup is designed to maintain a relatively airtight seal even if the surface is not perfectly smooth.

[0024] Herein, a plate 3 arranged with the clamping unit 1 in a vertical orientation, wherein the plate 3 is installed with a motorized slider that is mounted with a horizontal rod 4 and actuated by an inbuilt microcontroller for protruding outwards from the plate 3 and handle of the bicycle in view of being translated on the slider as per requirement of a user riding the bicycle.

[0025] The slider consists of a motor, and a rail unit 1 integrated with ball bearings to allow smooth linear movement. As the motor rotates the rotational motion of the motor is converted into linear motion through a pair of belts and linkages. This linear motion provides a stable track and allows the translation of the rod 4 as per requirement of a user riding the bicycle.

[0026] Further, an artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 5 that is actuated by the microcontroller for capturing multiple images of a sipper bottle which needs to be carried on the bicycle in view of determining dimension the bottle. The artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 5 is constructed with a camera lens and a processor, wherein the camera lens is adapted to capture a series of images of the sipper bottle which needs to be carried on the bicycle.

[0027] The processor carries out a sequence of image processing operations including pre-processing, feature extraction, and classification. The image captured by the image capturing module 5 is real-time images of the sipper bottle which needs to be carried on the bicycle. The artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 5 transmits the captured image signal in the form of digital bits to the microcontroller. The microcontroller upon receiving the image signals compares the received image signal with the pre-fed data stored in a database and constantly determines dimension of the bottle.

[0028] Based on the determined dimension, the microcontroller generates a relative command. Simultaneously, an expandable ring 6 attached to an end of the rod 4, configured with plurality of links overlapped with each other via motorized hinges and initially stored in a stowed state, wherein based on the determined dimension, the microcontroller directs the hinges to deploy the links in a manner that the ring 6 is expanded/contracted in view of accommodating the sipper bottle in a secured manner while the bicycle is in motion.

[0029] The hinges consist of a pair of leaf that are connected with each other via a rod 4, wherein the rod 4 is coupled with a motor that is interlinked with the microcontroller for accommodating the sipper bottle in a secured manner while the bicycle is in motion. Further, an L-shaped telescopically operated shaft 7 integrated with a lid 8 arranged on the plate 3 that is directed by the microcontroller to initially extend up to the accommodated bottle.

[0030] The telescopic shaft 7 as mentioned herein are powered by a pneumatic unit 1 that utilizes compressed air to extend and retract the shaft 7. The process begins with an air compressor which compresses atmospheric air to a higher pressure. The air cylinder of the pneumatic unit 1 contains a piston that moves back and forth within the cylinder. The cylinder is connected to one end of the telescopic shaft 7. The piston is attached to the telescopically operated shaft 7 and its movement is controlled by the flow of compressed air. To extend the telescopic shaft 7 the piston activates the air valve to allow compressed air to flow into the chamber behind the piston.

[0031] As the pressure increases in the chamber, the piston pushes the telescopic shaft 7 to the desired length and then the microcontroller sequentially directs the bar to place the lid 8 on mouth portion of the bottle, only in case the image capturing module 5 determines missing lid 8 of the bottle, thereby avoiding chances of spilling out of contents of the bottle out, while the bicycle is in motion.

[0032] After placing the lid 8 on the bottle, the microcontroller actuates an extendable bar integrated with a panel mounted on the plate 3 that is directed by the microcontroller to extend up to base portion of the accommodated bottle to place the panel at the bottom side of the bottle in order to provide stability to the bottle. The extension of the bar is powered by a pneumatic unit 1 that utilizes the compressed air to extend and retract the bar, if the lid 8 integrated with the bar applies more pressure while the bicycle meets with any type of road irregularities.

[0033] A battery is associated with the device to supply power to electrically powered components which are employed herein. The battery is comprised of a pair of electrode named as a cathode and an anode. The battery use a chemical reaction of oxidation/reduction to do work on charge and produce a voltage between their anode and cathode and thus produces electrical energy that is used to do work in the device.

[0034] The present invention works well in following manner, where the proposed device for bicycles comprises of, the frame 9 with the C-shaped clamping unit 1, plurality of suction cups 2 that are dedicated towards adherence of the unit 1 with handle portion of the bicycle in the secured manner, the clamping unit 1 in the vertical orientation, the motorized slider with the horizontal rod 4 protruding outwards from the plate 3 and handle of the bicycle in view of being translated on the slider as per requirement of the user riding the bicycle, and the artificial intelligence enabled image capturing 6 module 5 for capturing 6 and processing multiple images of the sipper bottle which needs to be carried on the bicycle in view of determining dimension the bottle. Further, the expandable ring 6 with plurality of links overlapped with each other via motorized hinges and initially stored in the stowed state, to deploy the links in the manner that the ring 6 is expanded/contracted in view of accommodating the sipper bottle in the secured manner while the bicycle is in motion, the L-shaped telescopically operated shaft 7 to initially extend up to the accommodated bottle the extendable bar to extend up to base portion of the accommodated bottle to place the panel at the bottom side of the bottle in order to provide stability to the bottle, if the lid 8 applies more pressure while the bicycle meets with any type of road irregularities, and the battery that powers all electrical and electronically operated components of the device.

Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternate embodiments of the invention, will become apparent to persons skilled in the art upon reference to the description of the invention. , Claims:1) A sipper carriage device for bicycles, comprising:

i) a frame 9 installed with a C-shaped clamping unit 1, wherein internal periphery of said unit 1 is installed with plurality of suction cups 2 that are dedicated towards adherence of said unit 1 with handle portion of said bicycle in a secured manner;
ii) a plate 3 arranged with said clamping unit 1 in a vertical orientation, wherein said plate 3 is installed with a motorized slider that is mounted with a horizontal rod 4 protruding outwards from said plate 3 and handle of said bicycle in view of being translated on said slider as per requirement of a user riding said bicycle;
iii) an artificial intelligence enabled image capturing 6 module 5 integrated with a processor for capturing 6 and processing multiple images of a sipper bottle which needs to be carried on said bicycle in view of determining dimension said bottle, wherein a microcontroller linked with said module 5, based on said determined dimension, generates a relative command;
iv) an expandable ring 6 attached to an end of said rod 4, configured with plurality of links overlapped with each other via motorized hinges and initially stored in a stowed state, wherein based on said determined dimension, said microcontroller directs said hinges to deploy said links in a manner that said ring 6 is expanded/contracted in view of accommodating said sipper bottle in a secured manner while said bicycle is in motion;
v) a L-shaped telescopically operated shaft 7 integrated with a lid 8 arranged on said plate 3 that is directed by said microcontroller to initially extend up to said accommodated bottle and then said microcontroller sequentially directs said bar to place said lid 8 on mouth portion of said bottle, only in case said image capturing 6 module 5 determines missing lid 8 of said bottle, thereby avoiding chances of spilling out of contents of said bottle out, while said bicycle is in motion; and
vi) an extendable bar integrated with a panel mounted on said plate 3 that is directed by said microcontroller to extend up to base portion of said accommodated bottle to place said panel at the bottom side of said bottle in order to provide stability to said bottle, if said lid 8 integrated with said bar applies more pressure while said bicycle meets with any type of road irregularities.

2) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said telescopically operated shaft 7 and extendable bar are powered by a pneumatic unit 1, including an air compressor, air cylinders, air valves and piston which works in collaboration to aid in extension and retraction of said shaft 7 and bar.

3) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein in case said bicycle meets with said road irregularities, then said rod 4 is properly translated on said slider by said microcontroller to minimize the level of jerk acting on said bottle.

4) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a battery is associated with said device that powers all electrical and electronically operated components of said device.
