BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] In a garments shop, showcasing shirt fabric to customers involves several important consideration. Firstly, it's essential to understand the diverse preference and needs of the customers base, ranging from different age group varying style preference. Additionally, providing information about the quality, durability and care instructed for each fabric type is aid customers in making informed decision to the user.

[0003] Traditionally, customer faced challenges when selecting fabric on shelves, which failed to provide a comprehensive understanding of how the fabric would appeal in a finished garments, particularly a shirt. This gap in the shopping experience led to the conceptualization and development of the proposed device. Additionally, the traditional method of shirt-fabric displaying is labor intensive along with excessive time consumption.

Serations are optionally provided at the edge of the body and function to maintain the position of a garment disposed about the body fixed relative to the body. The means for removable securing is an inverted substantially L-shaped extension of the body; the means consists of a vertical and a horizontal segment. The vertical segment extends upward from the top edge of the body. The horizontal segment extends from the vertical segment, overhangs the top edge of the body and defines there between a blind slots having a recess which is adapted to removably receive the holder. The body with garment ensconced thereon can be encased in a clear plastic bag. The substantially L-shaped extension may be totally or partially removable; when completely removed the body can be alternatively removably secured to the holder by means of an opening in the body adapted to receive a holder such as a display arm. Although, US'544 that is capable of displaying garment in a manner such that the body is positioned outside the garment interior. However, US'544 lacks in emitting an optimum light on the fabric, for allowing the user to view the fabric's pattern through the shirt's outline in order to select a desired fabric by visualizing the pattern on the outline.

[0006] Conventionally, many devices have been developed that are capable of displaying shirt-fabric. However, these devices are incapable of displaying the pattern in different outlines of garments which may include but is not limited to pants, skirts and dresses. Additionally, these devices are also incapable of emitting an optimum light on the fabric, for allowing the user to view the fabric's pattern through the shirt's outline in order to select a desired fabric by visualizing the pattern on the outline.

[0007] In order to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, there exists a need in the art to develop a device that is capable of displaying the pattern in different outlines of garments which may include but is not limited to pants, skirts and dresses, thereby allowing the user to select different outline of garments. In addition the device is able to emit an optimum light on the fabric for allowing the user to view the fabric's pattern through the shirt's outline in order to select a desired fabric by visualizing the pattern on the outline.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

[0008] The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art.

[0009] An object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable of providing assistance in displaying shirt-fabric to the customers in the garments store, thereby enhances the presentation of clothing items also offers flexibility in showcasing various fabric texture, patterns, and designs in order to facilitating a way to the user for selecting a desired fabric by visualizing the physical appeal of the garments without wearing.

[0010] Another object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable of emitting an optimum light on the fabric for allowing the user to view the fabric's pattern through the shirt's outline.

[0011] Yet another object of the present invention is to develop a device that is able to display the pattern in different outlines of garments which may include but is not limited to pants, skirts and dresses, thereby allowing the user to select different outline of garments.

[0012] The foregoing and other objects, features, and advantages of the present invention will become readily apparent upon further review of the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment as illustrated in the accompanying drawings.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0013] The present invention relates to a shirt-fabric displaying assistive device that is able to display shirt-fabric to the customers in the garments store, thereby providing a way to the user for selecting a desired fabric by visualizing the physical appeal of the garments.

[0014] According to an embodiment of the present invention, a shirt-fabric displaying assistive device, comprising a cuboidal shaped frame developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, wherein plurality of suction cups are arranged underneath the frame to adhere to the surface for securing the frame on the surface, pair of U-shaped clamps arranged on top portion of the frame that are accessed by a user to position a fabric roll on the clamps, wherein an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit installed on the frame and paired with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images of the frame, respectively to determine dimensions of the fabric roll, based on which an inbuilt microcontroller actuates a drawer arrangement integrated in the clamps to increase/decrease dimensions of the clamps for properly accommodating the fabric roll, an ultrasonic sensor embedded on the frame for determining position of ends of the roll, based on which the microcontroller actuates a pair of robotic grippers arranged on lateral ends of front portion of frame to acquire a grip of the ends of the fabric for pulling the fabric towards the front portion, an angle sensor is embedded on the frame for monitoring alignment of the fabric with respect to the lateral ends, based on which the microcontroller regulates actuation of the grippers.

[0015] According to another embodiment of the present invention, the proposed device further comprises of a motorized sliding unit integrated in between the frame and each of the gripper that is actuated by the microcontroller to provide translation to the grippers for transferring the gripped ends over length of the front portion, in a manner that the front portion is covered with the fabric, and a transparent plate marked with an outline of a shirt, and integrated on the front portion by means of a motorized hinge joint that is actuated by the microcontroller to provide converging/diverging movement to the plate for positioning the plate over the covered fabric, in order to mount the fabric behind the plate, plurality of LED's ( Light Emitting Diode) integrated on peripheral portion of the plate for emitting an optimum light on the fabric, for allowing the user to view the fabric's pattern through the shirt's outline on the transparent plate, thereby providing a way to the user for selecting a desired fabric by visualizing the pattern on the outline, a touch interactive display panel integrated on the frame for displaying the pattern in different outlines of garments which may include but is not limited to pants, skirts and dresses, and battery is configured with the device for providing a continuous power supply to electronically powered components associated with the device.

[0023] The proposed device includes a cuboidal shaped frame 101 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface. The cuboidal shaped frame 101 herein disclosed is made up of any material selected from but not limited to metallic material alike utilize to position over a fixed surface. Further, plurality of suction cups 102 are ranging from 4 to 6 in numbers arranged underneath the frame 101 to adhere to the surface for securing the frame 101 on the surface. The suction cups 102 used herein are made up of silicone rubber that easily eliminates pressure inside the suction cup and creating a vacuum between the cup and the ground surface which seals the surface tightly by the suction cup, resisting any slipping movement of the frame 101 in order to adheres frame 101 to the surface in successful manner.

Consequently, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 installed on the frame 101 and paired with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images of the frame 101, respectively to determine dimensions of the fabric roll. The artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 is equipped with AI (Artificial Intelligent) protocols encrypted in the microcontroller are used to process and analyses the images of the frame 101 captured by the camera enabling it to perform various tasks beyond traditional image capturing such as identifying edges, shapes, textures of the captured image.

The captured data is now pre-processed via the processor to enhance its quality and prepare it for AI analysis. This pre-processing involves tasks such as noise reduction, image stabilization, and color correction. Further, the processed data is fed into AI protocols for analysis which utilizes machine learning techniques, such as deep learning neural networks, to extract meaningful information present in the images. Based on extraction of the data from the captured images, the microcontroller determine dimensions of the fabric roll. Based on determined dimensions of the fabric roll the microcontroller actuates a drawer arrangement 105 integrated in the clamps 103 to increase/decrease dimensions of the clamps 103 for properly accommodating the fabric roll.

The drawer arrangement 105 herein disclosed comprises of a carriage assembly and a DC (direct current) motor that works in collaboration to increase/decrease dimensions of the clamps 103. The carriage assembly fitted with two rails that are used for sliding the block up and down. The block opening located at the end of the rail and have two clips that are used to secure the ring with the barrel. Thus, increase/decrease the drawer, the drawer is pushed to open and the carriage assembly slide outward. This creates an opening to allow increase/decrease dimensions of the clamps 103 for properly accommodating the fabric roll over the clamps 103.

[0027] Upon accommodating the fabric roll over the clamps 103, the microcontroller actuates an ultrasonic sensor embedded on the frame 101 for determining position of ends of the roll. The ultrasonic sensor as disclosed herein consists of transmitter and receiver, the transmitter emits high frequency sound waves towards the fabric roll that are typically above the range of human hearing. These sound waves hits the surface of the fabric roll.

[0028] Upon striking the fabric, the sound waves are particularly reflected back towards the receiver. Furthermore, the sensor measures the time taken for sound waves to travel to the fabric roll and back. Using the time measurement and the known speed of the sound in air, the sensor calculates the distance between sensor and fabric roll. The determined distance is sent to the microcontroller in a signal form, based on which the microcontroller further process the signal in order to determining position of ends of the roll. Based on the determined positioning of the ends of the roll, the microcontroller actuates a pair of robotic grippers 106 arranged on lateral ends of front portion of frame 101 to acquire a grip of the ends of the fabric.

The robotic gripper herein disclosed is includes a link connected with multiple motorized ball and socket joints and a gripper for smooth and precise gripping of ends of the fabric. The motorized ball and socket joint includes a motor powered by the microcontroller generating electrical current, a ball shaped element and a socket. The ball move freely within the socket. The motor rotates the ball in various directions that is controlled by the microcontroller that further commands the motor to position the ball precisely. The microcontroller further actuates the motor to generate electrical current to rotate in the joint for providing movement to the gripper to grip ends of the fabric for pulling the fabric towards the front portion, herein an angle sensor is embedded on the frame 101 for monitoring alignment of the fabric with respect to the lateral ends.

[0030] The angle sensor used herein is preferably an optical angle sensor that use light beams and optical detectors to measure changes in light reflection or transmission caused by the angle of the fabric with respect to the lateral ends. As the angle changes, the amount of light reflected or transmitted varies, allowing the sensor to calculate the angle. The angle sensor provides an output signal to the microcontroller. Then the microcontroller processes the received signals and based on which the microcontroller monitoring alignment of the fabric with respect to the lateral ends, based on which the microcontroller regulates actuation of the grippers 106.

The sliding unit 107 used herein consists of a pair of sliding rails fabricated with grooves in which the wheel of a slider is positioned that is further connected with a bi-directional motor via a shaft.

Thereafter, the transparent plate 201 marked with an outline of a shirt, and integrated on the front portion by means of a motorized hinge joint 202 that is actuated by the microcontroller to provide converging/diverging movement to the plate 201 for positioning the plate 201 over the covered fabric, in order to mount the fabric behind the plate 201. Besides the plurality of LED's 203 (Light Emitting Diode) emits the optimum light on the fabric, for allowing the user to view the fabric's pattern through the shirt's outline on the transparent plate 201, thereby providing a way to the user for selecting a desired fabric by visualizing the pattern on the outline. Moreover, the touch interactive display panel 108 displays the pattern in different outlines of garments which may include but is not limited to pants, skirts and dresses.

Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternate embodiments of the invention, will become apparent to persons skilled in the art upon reference to the description of the invention. , Claims:1) A shirt-fabric displaying assistive device, comprising:

i) a cuboidal shaped frame 101 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, wherein plurality of suction cups 102 are arranged underneath said frame 101 to adhere to said surface for securing said frame 101 on said surface;
ii) a pair of U-shaped clamps 103 arranged on top portion of said frame 101 that are accessed by a user to position a fabric roll on said clamps 103, wherein an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 installed on said frame 101 and paired with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images of said frame 101, respectively to determine dimensions of said fabric roll, based on which an inbuilt microcontroller actuates a drawer arrangement 105 integrated in said clamps 103 to increase/decrease dimensions of said clamps 103 for properly accommodating said fabric roll;
iii) an ultrasonic sensor embedded on said frame 101 for determining position of ends of said roll, based on which said microcontroller actuates a pair of robotic grippers 106 arranged on lateral ends of front portion of frame 101 to acquire a grip of said ends of said fabric for pulling said fabric towards said front portion;
iv) a motorized sliding unit 107 integrated in between said frame 101 and each of said gripper that is actuated by said microcontroller to provide translation to said grippers 106 for transferring said gripped ends over length of said front portion, in a manner that said front portion is covered with said fabric;
v) a transparent plate 201 marked with an outline of a shirt, and integrated on said front portion by means of a motorized hinge joint 202 that is actuated by said microcontroller to provide converging/diverging movement to said plate 201 for positioning said plate 201 over said covered fabric, in order to mount said fabric behind said plate 201; and
vi) plurality of LED's 203 ( Light Emitting Diode) integrated on peripheral portion of said plate 201 for emitting an optimum light on said fabric, for allowing said user to view said fabric's pattern through said shirt's outline on said transparent plate 201, thereby providing a way to said user for selecting a desired fabric by visualizing said pattern on said outline.

2) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein an angle sensor is embedded on said frame 101 for monitoring alignment of said fabric with respect to said lateral ends, based on which said microcontroller regulates actuation of said grippers 106.

3) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a touch interactive display panel 108 integrated on said frame 101 for displaying said pattern in different outlines of garments which may include but is not limited to pants, skirts and dresses.

4) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a battery is configured with said device for providing a continuous power supply to electronically powered components associated with said device.
