Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a secured carriage device for electronic gadgets that is capable of providing mean to store laptops and other gadgets securely and also functions as a workplace for user at the time of requirement. Additionally, the device provides mean to carry the gadgets and laptops conveniently and notifies the user if any suspicious person is detected to be present nearby.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The laptops and other electronic gadgets such as mobile phones play a pivotal role in today's world, serving as indispensable tools that drive the productivity, connectivity and innovation. These portable computers have become an integral part of daily life, transforming the way we work, communicate, and access information. In the professional realm, laptops empower individuals to work remotely, fostering flexibility and efficiency. Our dependency on technology is posing a few serious challenge. Since the importance of laptops in today's world extends beyond mere convenience, it is important to know how to store them effectively to ensure the efficiency and functionality of these gadgets.

[0003] In the traditional scenarios, an individual's needs normal study table or bed tables to hold the laptop while working. Sometimes people keep the laptop at an elevated angle by placing a book or any other object beneath the laptop to give an elevated angle to the laptop. While these traditional methods may offer some benefits, they also pose some challenges and drawbacks. Also for storing the individual utilize bag packs to store the laptops for easy carriage but these traditional means do not have provision to monitor the surrounding areas during the carriage for sensing the possibility of the presence of suspicious person and also the traditionally used device lack in providing means to be utilized as a workplace whenever required.

[0004] US20070159781A1 discloses about a laptop computer bag includes a portable workspace, front extendable legs, and rear extendable legs. The portable work space is capable of being extended out from the laptop computer bag by extending the front extendable legs and the rear extendable legs from a collapsed position. The front extendable legs and the rear extendable legs provide support for the portable workspace. The back pack is the same only the workspace the main support wall that would rest on a person's back, with padding (outside of the pack) so the user does not feel the hard surface of the workstation. However the cited invention US'781 developed to be utilized for storing the laptops and other electronic gadgets, but incapable of being utilized as a workstation on the time of requirement. The cited invention also lacks in monitoring the surrounding area to locate the suspicious person for alerting the user.

[0005] US20100110629A1 discloses a snuggly fitting laptop computer cover that is exceptionally easy to fit over a laptop computer that provides cable plug access and adequate cooling when the computer is in use. Although he cited invention US'629 is developed for covering the laptop/computer when in use, but does not provide means to carry the laptop at the time of requirement and also lacks in providing optimum visibility in low light condition. Moreover the cited invention also lacks in monitoring the surrounding area to locate the suspicious person for alerting the user.

[0006] Conventionally, many devices are available being used for storage of the laptops and other gadgets for easy carriage but these device do not provide mean to be utilized as a workplace at the time of requirement and also no such devices have been developed that is cap[able of monitoring the surrounding area to locate the suspicious person for alerting the user.

[0007] In order to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, there exists a need in the art to develop a device that is capable of providing mean to store laptops and other gadgets securely and also functions as a workplace for user at the time of requirement. Also there exists the need in the art to develop a device that provides mean to carry the gadgets and laptops conveniently and notifies the user if any suspicious person is detected to be present nearby.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

[0008] The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art.

[0009] An object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable of providing means to a user to store their laptop along with other electronic gadgets such as charger, phone etc. in a secured manner to protect them from dirt/dust and from impact.

[0010] Another object of the present invention is to develop a device to develop a device that is capable of being utilized as a workplace for enabling the user to work during the time of requirement.

[0011] Another object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable of forming a bag like structure for enabling the user to carry laptops and other stuffs in a secured and in a convenient way.

[0012] Yet another object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable of notifying the user if any suspicious person is detected to be present nearby and also tracks the location of the laptop is laptop gets robbed.

[0013] The foregoing and other objects, features, and advantages of the present invention will become readily apparent upon further review of the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment as illustrated in the accompanying drawings.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0014] The present invention relates to a secured carriage device for electronic gadgets that is capable of protecting the user's laptop and other gadgets from the dust and dirt and can be utilized as a workspace whenever needed. Furthermore, the device is providing means to carry their laptops and gadgets comfortably and also alerts the user if any suspicious person is detected.

[0015] According to an embodiment of the present invention, a secured carriage device for electronic gadgets, comprising a cuboidal body installed with a base developed to secure a laptop, a rectangular flap attached to a rear portion of the body by means of a primary motorized hinge for deploying the flap in view of protecting upper surface of the laptop, at inner side of body plurality of suction units are provided for adhering the base with the laptop in a secured manner, a rectangular panel arranged on lateral sides of the rear portion, having plurality of pockets that are dedicated towards storage of various accessories and panels are integrated with the rear portion via secondary motorized hinges which provide movement to the panels in view of securing the laptop while in usage, a microphone configured with the body that is accessed by a user for inputting voice command regarding the usage of the laptop, a horizontal motorized slider provided at each lateral side of the base which upon receiving the signal, is actuated for smooth movement of the panels on the slider, an electromagnetic plate is provided at a bottom side of the panels for locking the panels with the slider in fixed orientations, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit configured on back side of the flap for monitoring surrounding in order to detect presence of any suspicious person, if any suspicious person is detected to be present nearby the body and a notification is sent on a computing unit for notifying user regarding user presence of suspicious person.

[0016] According to another embodiment of the present invention, the proposed device further comprises of a GPS(global positioning system) module determining real time location of the body which is then sent to computing unit of the user for enabling the user to track the person, if laptop gets robbed, a C-shaped handle layered with a cushion pad, attached with upper edge of both of the base and flap in view of enabling the user to carry the body to different places, an ultrasonic sensor provided on the handle for determining dimension of the user's palm, a motorized drawer arrangement, integrated with the handle for adjusting the dimension of handle in accordance to dimension of user's palm for allowing user to grip handle comfortably during carriage of laptop, plurality of electromagnet patches installed on panels and body which are energized by microcontroller for adhering with each other in view of forming a bag like structure for allowing the user to carry the laptop, and plurality of LED lights are mapped on the flap for illuminating in accordance to command given by user for enhancing visibility during the work in low light conditions.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Additionally, the device is providing means to carry their laptops and gadgets comfortably and also alerts the user if any suspicious person is detected.

[0023] Referring to Figure 1 and Figure 2, an isometric view of a secured carriage device for electronic gadgets and an isometric view of the proposed device in a stowed manner are illustrated, respectively comprising a cuboidal body 101 installed with a base 102, a rectangular flap 103 is attached to a rear portion of the body 101 by means of a primary motorized hinge 104, a rectangular panel 105 arranged on lateral sides of the rear portion by means of secondary hinges 106 and each having plurality of pockets 107, a microphone 108 configured with the body 101, a horizontal motorized slider 109 provided at each lateral side of the base 102, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 110 configured on back side of the flap 103, a C-shaped handle 201 attached with upper edge of both of the base 102 and flap 103, and plurality of LED lights 111 are mapped on the flap 103.

[0024] The proposed device comprises of a cuboidal body 101 having a face opened, and installed with a base 102. Initially a user is required to store their laptop in the body 101 for protecting the laptop from dust and dirt when the laptop is not in use. At rear portion of the body 101, a rectangular flap 103 is attached by means of a primary motorized hinge 104 for protecting upper surface of the laptop. Inside the body 101, plurality of suction unit are attached for gesturing holding the laptop within the base 102 of body 101. Each of the suction units are combinely connected to a vacuum pump which creates the negative pressure within each suction unit. The vacuum pump comprises of an impeller configured with multiple vanes and which is directly coupled with the shaft of a motor to rotate the impeller.

[0025] Further, the motor is capable of converting current into mechanical work by following the principle of Lorentz Law which states that, the current carrying conduction when placed in magnetic or electrical field experiences a force known as Lorentz force. Such that the motor converts the electrical current derived from an external source into a mechanical torque for providing the required rotational power to the impeller. The impeller vanes are designed in such a way that on rotation the impeller creates the negative pressure in the suction units and that results in adhering of laptop securely in the body 101.

[0026] Further, a rectangular panel 105 is arranged on lateral sides of flap 103 each by means of a secondary motorized hinge. The secondary hinges106 provides the angular movement to the panel 105s for creating the shield in the side of the laptop. With each panel 105, plurality of pockets 107 are provided that are dedicated towards storage of various accessories as per the requirement of the user. When the user desires to access the laptop then needs to access a microphone 108 installed on the body 101 for feeding the voice command regarding the requirement of the laptop for work.

[0027] The microphone 108 works by converting sound waves into electrical signals. The microphone 108 is designed to detect variations in air pressure caused by user's voice in the surrounding and transform those pressure fluctuations into electrical signals that is further processed, stored, or transmitted to a microcontroller. Whenever, the user speaker, it creates a series of compressions and rarefactions in the surrounding medium, which constitute sound waves. The microphone 108 typically consists of a diaphragm, a magnet, and a coil. The diaphragm is a thin, flexible membrane that vibrates in response to the changes in air pressure caused by sound waves in the housing.

[0028] When the diaphragm vibrates, it moves the coil relative to the magnet, inducing an electric current in the coil due to electromagnetic induction. As the coil moves within the magnetic field of the sensor, it generates a varying electrical voltage proportional to the diaphragm's motion. This voltage represents the electrical analog of the sound waves and is often referred to as the audio signal. The electrical signal is amplified and converted into an analog electrical signal which is processed by the microcontroller. After processing the microcontroller fetches the user's voice input regarding the requirement of the laptop from the body 101 for work.

[0029] After receiving command of the user via the microphone 108, the microcontroller actuates the primary motorized hinge 104 for providing the angular movement to the flap 103 in view of deploying the flap 103 and also directs the suction units to release the laptop for allowing the user to access the laptop.

[0030] A horizontal motorized slider 109 is provided at each lateral side of the base 102 which is actuated by the microcontroller, in accordance to command given by the user on the microphone 108 regarding the adjustment of position of the panels 105. Upon receiving the signal, the slider 109 is actuated for smooth movement of the panels 105 on the slider 109 for adjusting the position of the panels 105.

[0031] The motorized slider 109 used herein consists of a sliding-rail and multiple rolling members which are integrated with a step motor. On actuation the step motor rotates the rolling members in order to provide rolling motion to the members which results in sliding of the panels 105 over the sliding-rail for adjusting the position of the panels 105. After positioning the panels 105 at an appropriate position on the slider 109, the microcontroller energizes an electromagnetic plate is provided at a bottom side of the panels 105 for locking the panels 105 with the slider 109 in fixed orientations.

[0032] The electromagnet consists of a conducting coil which on energizing generates the magnetic field around the coil and due to strong ferrous property of the slider 109, the electromagnet gets adhered with the slider 109 for keeping the panel 105 in a fixed orientation and minimizes the chance of shrinking of the panels 105. During the works if the user inputs voice command for illumination of lights 111 then the microcontroller directs plurality of LED lights 111 mapped on the flap 103 for illuminating in accordance to command given by user for enhancing visibility during the work in low light conditions. The LED lights 111 are two-lead semiconductor light source also known as p-n junction which produce the lighting when constant voltage is supplied across the diode.

[0033] When the voltage is supplied across the diode, the electrons recombine with the electrons hole in the diode which result in conversion of electron into photons which is another form of light and that enhance the visibly in surrounding for providing ease to user in doing the task. Further if the user desires to carry the laptop, then feeds the command regarding the same in the microphone 108 and based on which the microcontroller de-energizes the electromagnetic plate first and then directs secondary hinges106 to orient the panels 105 back and thereafter primary hinge 104 deploys the flap 103 back towards the body 101 for forming a bag like structure.

[0034] Along with actuation of the primary hinge 104, the microcontroller energizes plurality of electromagnet patches installed on panels 105 and body 101 for adhering flap 103 with body 101 for forming a bag like structure for allowing the user to carry the laptop. Post formation of bag like structure, the user is now required to acquire grip on a C-shaped handle 201 layered with a cushion pad, attached with upper edge of both of the base 102 and flap 103 for enabling the user to carry the body 101 to different places. An ultrasonic sensor is provided on the handle 201 for determining dimension of the user's palm.

[0035] The ultrasonic sensor emits high-frequency waves in vicinity of the handle 201 and measures the time it takes for the waves to bounce back after hitting the user's palm. The sensor is typically oriented in a way that it measures the presence of the user in vicinity of the handle 201. The ultrasonic sensor collects a significant amount of data by scanning the entire surface in vicinity of the frame and forms a 3D point cloud. The ultrasonic sensor sends the data to the microcontroller which processes the acquired data and detects dimension of the user's palm.

[0036] In accordance to the determined dimension of the user's palm, the microcontroller directs a motorized drawer arrangement, integrated with the handle 201 for adjusting the dimension of handle 201 in accordance to dimension of user's palm. The drawer arrangement consist of a motor, hollow compartment and multiple compartments that are connected with sliders 109. After actuating by the microcontroller, an electric current passes through the motor of the drawer mechanism and energized the motor.

[0037] The energized motor further actuates the compartments which are initially at the stowed condition to move in a successive manner within the hollow compartment and extends length of the compartments. Simultaneously, each of the compartments having a fixed groove track, wherein upon actuation of the slider 109, the motor of the slider 109 gets energized and provides a movement to the compartment to move in a linear direction on the groove track of the successive compartment as directed by the microcontroller and extends dimension of the handle 201 for allowing user to grip handle 201 comfortably during carriage of laptop.

[0038] When the user is not presence nearby the body 101 as detected by the ultrasonic sensor, then the microcontroller actuates an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 110 integrated with a processor configured on back side of the flap 103 for monitoring surrounding. The imaging unit 110 comprises of a processor and a camera which on actuation capture the multiple image of the surrounding. The camera is comprised of a lens and a digital camera sensor, wherein the camera lens takes all the light rays rebounding around the surrounding and utilizes the lenses to transmit them to a single point for creating a sharp image.

[0039] When all of those light rays rebound back and meet together on a digital camera sensor, create a digital image of the surrounding by performing various operations like pre-processing, feature extraction and classification which is transmitted to the processor. The processor further extracts all the required information from the digital images and transmit to microcontroller which further processes the information shared by the processor in order to detect the presence of any suspicious person.

[0040] At any instance during the absence of user, if any suspicious person is detected to be present nearby the body 101, then the microcontroller sends a notification on a computing unit of the user for notifying the user regarding the presence of the suspicious person.

[0041] The computing unit is wirelessly linked with the microcontroller via a communication module which includes but not limited to Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) module, Bluetooth module, GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) module. The communication module employed herein acts as an intermediate between various electronic components, wherein it is used to establish the communication between the users computing unit and the microcontroller for sending the notification on the user's computing unit for making the user aware of presence of suspicious person.

[0042] Along with sending the notification the microcontroller also directs a GPS(global positioning system) module which is integrated with the microcontroller for determining real time location of the body 101. The Global positioning system gaps works on the trilateration method in which the trilateration method established the position of the body 101 on the intersection of spheres preferably known as trilateration. When a GPS receiver gets a signal from one of the satellites, the GPS estimates its distance from the satellite using a 3-D sphere with the satellite in the center. After doing the same with three more GPS satellites, the receiver proceeds to determine the intersection point of the three spheres in order to evaluate the true and specific location which is then sent to computing unit of the user associated with the device for enabling the user to track the location of the body 101, if the body 101 along with laptop gets robbed.

[0043] A battery is associated with the device to supply power to electrically powered components which are employed herein. The battery is comprised of a pair of electrode named as a cathode and an anode. The battery use a chemical reaction of oxidation/reduction to do work on charge and produce a voltage between their anode and cathode and thus produces electrical energy that is used to do work in the device.

[0044] The present invention works well in the following manner where the cuboidal body 101 to store their laptop in the body 101 for protecting the laptop from dust and dirt when the laptop is not in use. The rectangular flap 103 is deployed by a primary motorized hinge 104 for protecting upper surface of the laptop. Inside the body 101, plurality of suction unit are attached for gesturing holding the laptop within the base 102 of body 101. Further, the rectangular panel 105 is arranged on lateral sides of flap 103 each by means of the secondary motorized hinge. The secondary hinges106 provides the angular movement to the panels 105 for creating the shield in the side of the laptop. With each panel 105, plurality of pockets 107 are provided that are dedicated towards storage of various accessories as per the requirement of the user. When the user desires to access the laptop then needs to access microphone 108 for feeding the voice command regarding the requirement of the laptop for work. After receiving command of the user via the microphone 108, the microcontroller actuates the primary motorized hinge 104 for providing the angular movement to the flap 103 in view of deploying the flap 103 and also directs the suction units to release the laptop for allowing the user to access the laptop. After positioning the panels 105 at an appropriate position on the slider 109, the microcontroller energizes electromagnetic plate for locking the panels 105 with the slider 109 in fixed orientations. During the works if the user inputs voice command for illumination of lights 111 then the microcontroller directs LED lights 111 mapped on the flap 103 for illuminating in accordance to command given by user for enhancing visibility during the work in low light conditions. Further if the user desires to carry the laptop, then feeds the command regarding the same in the microphone 108 and based on which the microcontroller de-energizes the electromagnetic plate first and then directs secondary hinges106 to orient the panels 105 back and thereafter primary hinge 104 deploys the flap 103 back towards the body 101 for forming a bag like structure. Post formation of bag like structure, the user is now required to acquire grip on the C-shaped handle 201 layered with a cushion pad, attached with upper edge of both of the base 102 and flap 103 for enabling the user to carry the body 101 to different places. When the user is not presence nearby the body 101 as detected by the ultrasonic sensor, then the microcontroller actuates artificial intelligence based imaging unit 110 for monitoring surrounding in order to detect the presence of any suspicious person. At any instance during the absence of user, if any suspicious person is detected to be present nearby the body 101, then the microcontroller sends a notification on computing unit of the user for notifying the user regarding the presence of the suspicious person. Along with sending the notification the microcontroller also directs GPS (global positioning system) module which is integrated with the microcontroller for determining real time location of the body 101 and then sent to computing unit of the user associated with the device for enabling the user to track the location of the body 101, if the body 101 along with laptop gets robbed.

Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternate embodiments of the invention, will become apparent to individuals skilled in the art upon reference to the description of the invention. , Claims:1) A secured carriage device for electronic gadgets, comprising:

i) a cuboidal body 101 installed with a base 102 developed to secure a laptop, wherein a rectangular flap 103 is attached to a rear portion of said body 101 by means of a primary motorized hinge 104 for deploying said flap 103 in view of protecting upper surface of said laptop, wherein at inner side of body 101, plurality of suction units are provided for adhering said base 102 with said laptop in a secured manner;
ii) a rectangular panel 105 arranged on lateral sides of said rear portion, having plurality of pockets 107 that are dedicated towards storage of various accessories, wherein said panels 105 are integrated with said rear portion via secondary motorized hinges106 which provide movement to said panels 105 in view of securing said laptop while in usage;
iii) a microphone 108 configured with said body 101 that is accessed by a user for inputting voice command regarding the usage of said laptop, wherein a microcontroller linked with said microphone 108 process said command and based on said processed command generates a relative signal;
iv) a horizontal motorized slider 109 provided at each lateral side of said base 102 which upon receiving said signal, is actuated for smooth movement of said panels 105 on said slider 109, wherein an electromagnetic plate is provided at a bottom side of said panels 105 for locking said panels 105 with said slider 109 in fixed orientations;
v) an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 110 integrated with a processor configured on back side of said flap 103 for monitoring surrounding in order to detect presence of any suspicious person, wherein if any suspicious person is detected to be present nearby said body 101, then said microcontroller sends a notification on a computing unit of for notifying user regarding user presence of suspicious person and also directs a GPS(global positioning system) module which is integrated with said microcontroller for determining real time location of said body 101, which is then sent to computing unit of said user for enabling the user to track the person, if laptop gets robbed;
vi) a C-shaped handle 201 layered with a cushion pad, attached with upper edge of both of said base 102 and flap 103 in view of enabling said user to carry said body 101 to different places, wherein an ultrasonic sensor is provided on said handle 201 for determining dimension of said user's palm and based on said determined dimension, said microcontroller linked with said ultrasonic sensor actuates a motorized drawer arrangement, integrated with said handle 201 for adjusting said dimension of handle 201 in accordance to dimension of user's palm for allowing user to grip handle 201 comfortably during carriage of laptop; and
vii) plurality of electromagnet patches installed on panels 105 and body 101 which are energized by microcontroller for adhering with each other in view of forming a bag like structure for allowing said user to carry said laptop.

2) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein plurality of LED lights 111 are mapped on said flap 103 for illuminating in accordance to command given by user for enhancing visibility during said work in low light conditions.

3) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein body 101 is made of flexible material.
