Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a secured beverage container holding device for four-wheelers that is capable of being installed with door of a four-wheeler vehicle in order to enable a user to hold beverage container and also capable of cleaning the leaked and spilled beverage to prevent smudging of beverage.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] Occupants of motor vehicles frequently place beverage containers such as coffee cups and soft drink cans on a horizontal surface such as the arm rest, console, or the instrument panel. However, the vehicle corners or decelerates, the beverage container slides on the surface and gets spilled in the vehicle making difficult for the passengers to travel in the vehicle as well as spoils hygienic environment in the vehicle.
[0003] Generally, the passengers in the four-wheelers holds the container in their hand as well as provide support to the container to prevent from sliding or spilling. This method is not efficient in long travelling as hand of the passenger gets strained as well as spoils his or her travelling experience. This method requires lot of physical efforts of the user

The apparatus is designed to provide clearance of overlapping trim in certain auto ashtray styles. The user may position the device slot assembly and cup receptable to a desired position at arms reach while seated either in the front seat or rear seat of an automobile.
[0005] US4728018A discloses about an invention that provides a beverage holder for supporting both the bottom surface and the sides of a container includes a housing mounted within a vertical panel of the vehicle body and having spaced apart side walls defining a narrow vertical slot. A plastic retainer includes a narrow spine portion having an end pivoted to the housing at the bottom of the narrow slot to mount the spine for movement between a vertical position stored inside the housing and a deployed position extending horizontally outward from the face of the panel and defining a narrow shelf for supporting the bottom surface of the container. The retainer also has a pair of plastic support wings connected to the spine and extending above the spine. The wings are yieldable relative one another to spaced apart positions by which the wings resiliently cradle the walls of the beverage container to balance the beverage container on the spine. Furthermore, the wings yield relative one another to a closely spaced relation when the retainer is pivoted through the narrow slot to the stored position. In the stored position, the wings yieldably engage the side walls of the housing to thereby retain the retainer in the stored position.
[0006] Conventionally, many devices have been developed that are capable of holding beverage container in four- wheeler. However, these devices are incapable of holding the beverage container on four-wheeler securely. Additionally, these devices are incapable of cleaning the leaked as well as spilled beverage to prevent smudging of beverage.
[0007] In order to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, there exists a need in the art to develop a device that is capable of being installed with door of a four-wheeler vehicle in order to enable a user to hold beverage container. In addition, the proposed equipment is capable of cleaning the leaked and spilled beverage to prevent smudging of beverage.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[0008] The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art.
[0009] An object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable of being installed with door of a four-wheeler vehicle in order to enable a user to hold beverage container.
[0010] Another object of the present invention is to develop a device that is capable of cleaning the leaked and spilled beverage to prevent smudging of beverage.
[0011] Yet another object of the present invention is to develop a device that is reliable in nature.
[0012] The foregoing and other objects, features, and advantages of the present invention will become readily apparent upon further review of the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment as illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0013] The present invention relates to a secured beverage container holding device for four-wheelers that is capable of being installed with door of a four-wheeler in order to enable a user to hold beverage container. The proposed device is capable of cleaning the leaked as well as spilled beverage to prevent smudging of the beverage.
[0014] According to an embodiment of the present invention, a secured beverage container holding device for four-wheelers comprises of an inverted L-shaped plate having a first as well as second portion, the first portion is inserted in window panel of a four-wheeler for establishing the plate on inner side of the four-wheeler's door, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit installed on the plate integrated with a processor for capturing as well as processing multiple images in vicinity of the plate to determine positioning of the plate on the door, a pair of motorized grippers arranged on lateral sides of the plate to extend for positioning a suction unit integrated on each of the grippers on a fixed surface of the door, a holder arranged at the second portion that is accessed by a user for accommodating a beverage container in the holder and an ultrasonic sensor is integrated on the plate in synchronization with the imaging unit for monitoring dimensions of the accommodated container.
[0015] According to another embodiment of the present invention, the proposed device further comprises of plurality of extendable links integrated on inner periphery of the holder to extend or retract in a regulated manner for acquiring a firm grip on the container, a color sensor integrated on the plate in synchronization with the imaging unit for monitoring presence of leakage on the container, a motorized gripper mounted on the frame to extend for getting positioned in proximity to the container for wiping of any liquid leaked on surface of the container via a fabric attached with the gripper in order to prevent smearing of the leaked solution on the four-wheeler's door, a proximity sensor is integrated on the plate for detecting presence of any obstacle on the door ahead of the grippers and a battery is configured with the frame for providing a continuous power supply to electronically powered components associated with the device.

[0022] Referring to Figure 1, an isometric view of a secured beverage container holding device for four-wheelers is illustrated, comprising an inverted L-shaped plate 1 having a first and second portion, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed on the plate 1, a pair of motorized grippers 3 arranged on lateral sides of the plate 1, a holder 4 arranged at the second portion, plurality of extendable links 5 integrated on inner periphery of the holder 4, a motorized gripper 6 mounted on the plate 1 and a fabric 7 attached with gripper 6.

The first portion is inserted in window panel of a four-wheeler for establishing the plate 1 on inner side of the four-wheeler's door. Initially, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 which is installed on the plate 1 determines positioning of the plate 1 on the door.
[0024] The imaging unit 2 comprises of a processor and a camera which on actuation capture the multiple image of the vicinity of the plate 1. The camera is comprised of a lens and a digital camera sensor, wherein the camera lens takes all the light rays rebounding around the vicinity of the plate 1 and utilizes the lenses to transmit them to a single point for creating a sharp image. When all of those light rays rebound back and meet together on a digital camera sensor, create a digital image of the vicinity of the plate 1 by performing various operations like pre-processing, feature extraction and classification which is transmitted to the processor.
[0025] The processor further extracts all the required information from the digital images and transmit to an inbuilt microcontroller associated with the device, which further processes the information shared by the processor in order to determine positioning of the plate 1 on the door and in accordance to which microcontroller actuates a pair of motorized grippers 3 arranged on lateral sides of the plate 1 to extend for positioning a suction unit integrated on each of the grippers 3 on a fixed surface of the door.
[0026] The motorized grippers 3 are a type of mechanical arm which is usually available with similar function to a human arm. The segments of such a manipulator are connected by joints allowing either rotational motion or translational displacement. The motorized grippers 3 contains several segments that are attached together by joints also referred to as axes. Each joints of the segments contains a step motor that rotates and allows the motorized grippers 3 to complete a specific motion in translating the equipped suction unit on a fixed surface of the door.
[0027] Now a user accesses a holder 4 arranged at the second portion for accommodating a beverage container in the holder 4 and the dimension of the accommodated container is determined by an ultrasonic sensor integrated on the plate 1. The ultrasonic sensor emits high-frequency waves and measures the time it takes for the waves to bounce back after hitting the surface of the container. The sensor is typically oriented in a way that it measures the dimension of container. The ultrasonic sensor collects a significant amount of data by scanning the entire surface of container and forms a 3D point cloud. The ultrasonic sensor sends the data to the microcontroller which processes the acquired data and detects the dimensions of the container.
[0028] Based on the determined dimension, the microcontroller actuates plurality of extendable links 5 integrated on inner periphery of the holder 4 to extend/retract in a regulated manner for acquiring a firm grip on the container. The extension/retraction of the links 5 are powered by a pneumatic unit associated with the device and includes an air compressor, air valves, and a piston. The air compressor used herein extract the air from surrounding and increases the pressure of the air by reducing the volume of the air. The air compressor is consist of two main parts including a motor and a pump. The motor powers the compressor pump which uses the energy from the motor drive to draw in atmospheric air and compress to elevated pressure. The compressed air is then sent through a discharge tube into the cylinder across the valve. The compressed air in the cylinder tends to pushes out the piston to extend which extends the links 5 for acquiring a firm grip on the container.
[0029] Further, a color sensor which is integrated on the plate 1 and works in synchronization with the imaging unit 2 for monitoring presence of leakage on the container and if the occurrence of the leakage is detected then the in microcontroller actuates a motorized gripper 6mounted on the frame to extend for getting positioned in proximity to the container for translating a fabric 7 attached with gripper 6 in contact with the surface fir wiping of any liquid leaked on surface of the container in order to prevent smearing of the leaked solution on the four-wheeler's door.
[0030] Also a proximity sensor is integrated on the plate 1 for detecting presence of any obstacle on the door ahead of the grippers 3. The proximity sensor used herein in a capacitance based proximity sensor comprises of a high-frequency oscillator along with a sensing surface formed by two metal electrodes and when the electricity flow in the electrode, an electrostatic field is generated around the electrodes. If obstacle is present in close to the sensing surface, then it enters the electrostatic field of the electrodes and changes the capacitance of the oscillator and as a result, the oscillator circuit starts oscillating and changes the output state of the sensor when it reaches certain amplitude. The deflection in the amplitude of the oscillator is detected by the microcontroller and in accordance to which the microcontroller directs actuation of the grippers 3 to prevent collisions and damage.
[0031] A battery is associated with the device to supply power to electrically powered components which are employed herein. The battery is comprised of a pair of electrode named as a cathode and an anode. The battery use a chemical reaction of oxidation/reduction to do work on charge and produce a voltage between their anode and cathode and thus produces electrical energy that is used to do work in the device.
[0032] The present invention works well in following manner where an inverted L-shaped plate 1 having two portion each referred as a first and a second portion. The first portion is inserted in window panel of a four-wheeler for establishing the plate 1 on inner side of the four-wheeler's door. Now a user accesses a holder 4 arranged at the second portion for accommodating a beverage container in the holder 4 and the dimension of the accommodated container is determined by an ultrasonic sensor integrated on the plate 1. Based on the determined dimension, the microcontroller actuates plurality of extendable links 5 integrated on inner periphery of the holder 4 to extend/retract in a regulated manner for acquiring a firm grip on the container. Further, a color sensor which is integrated on the plate 1 and works in synchronization with the imaging unit 2 for monitoring presence of leakage on the container and if the occurrence of the leakage is detected then the in microcontroller actuates a motorized gripper 6 mounted on the frame to extend for getting positioned in proximity to the container for translating a fabric 7 attached with gripper 6 in contact with the surface fir wiping of any liquid leaked on surface of the container in order to prevent smearing of the leaked solution on the four-wheeler's door. Also a proximity sensor is integrated on the plate 1 for detecting presence of any obstacle on the door ahead of the grippers 3 and in accordance to which the microcontroller directs actuation of the grippers 3 to prevent collisions and damage.

Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternate embodiments of the invention, will become apparent to persons skilled in the art upon reference to the description of the invention. , Claims:1) A secured beverage container holding device for four-wheelers, comprising:
i) an inverted L-shaped plate 1 having a first and second portion, wherein said first portion is inserted in window panel of a four-wheeler for establishing said plate 1 on inner side of said four-wheeler's door;
ii) an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed on said plate 1 and integrated with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images in vicinity of said plate 1, respectively to determine positioning of said plate 1 on said door, in accordance to which an inbuilt microcontroller actuates a pair of motorized grippers 3 arranged on lateral sides of said plate 1 to extend for positioning a suction unit integrated on each of said grippers 3 on a fixed surface of said door;
iii) a holder 4 arranged at said second portion that is accessed by a user for accommodating a beverage container in said holder 4, wherein an ultrasonic sensor is integrated on said plate 1 and synced with said imaging unit 2 for monitoring dimensions of said accommodated container, in accordance to which said microcontroller actuates plurality of extendable links 5 integrated on inner periphery of said holder 4 to extend/retract in a regulated manner for acquiring a firm grip on said container; and
iv) a color sensor integrated on said plate 1 and synced with said imaging unit 2 for monitoring presence of leakage on said container, in accordance to which said microcontroller actuates a motorized gripper 6 mounted on said frame to extend for getting positioned in proximity to said container, for wiping of any liquid leaked on surface of said container via a fabric 7 attached with said gripper 6 in order to prevent smearing of said leaked solution on said four-wheeler's door.
2) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a proximity sensor is integrated on said plate 1 for detecting presence of any obstacle on said door, ahead of said grippers 3, in accordance to which said microcontroller directs actuation of said grippers 3.
3) The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a battery is configured with said frame for providing a continuous power supply to electronically powered components associated with said device.
