a plurality of IoT devices;
a device management server configured to manage the devices;
a secure communication layer configured to enable encrypted communication between the devices and the server;
a registration and authentication module for securely enrolling IoT devices using a public-private key pair.
2. The system of claim 1, wherein the server is configured to scale horizontally by deploying multiple instances of the device management server and using a load balancer to distribute device requests.
3. The system of claim 1, wherein the communication layer uses a secure protocol selected from the group consisting of TLS, MQTT, and CoAP for ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of data.
4. The system of claim 1, further comprising a firmware and software management module configured to enable over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates to IoT devices in a secure manner.
