SAFETY BELT WEARING DETECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM

Abstract

A safety belt wearing detection method and apparatus, an electronic device and a storage medium, relating to the technical field of image processing, and for use in improving the accuracy and efficiency of safety belt wearing detection, thereby improving the driving safety. The safety belt wearing detection method comprises: performing face detection on an image to be detected, so as to obtain position information of one or more face bounding boxes; on the basis of the position information of the one or more face bounding boxes, identifying from the one or more face bounding boxes a target face bounding box located in a preset seat area; on the basis of position information of the target face bounding box, cropping the image to be detected, to obtain a target human body image corresponding to the target face bounding box; and segmenting a safety belt area image from the target human body image, and on the basis of the safety belt area image, determining whether a person corresponding to the target human body image wears a safety belt.
