Specification

Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of security systems and in particular relates to a remote metal detection system that is capable of detecting metal objects within a specific area.
BACKGROUND

[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Conventional metal detectors have long been utilized in security applications, including airports, government buildings, and public events, to identify metallic objects that may pose a threat. These systems typically operate on the principles o , Claims:1. A remote metal detection system (100), the system (100) comprising:
a wearable unit (102) developed to be equipped by a user over a hand;
a plurality of sensors (104) configured to detect hand gestures of the user's hand; and
a processor (106) communicatively coupled with the plurality of sensors (104), wherein the processor (106) is configured to:
receive data from the plurality of sensors (104),
actuate a robotic arm (108) having a plurality of links and motors,
generate a signal to actuate a metal detector (110) attached with the robotic arm (108) to detect metal in vicinity to the robotic arm (108) during movement of the robotic arm (108).

2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the processor (108) comprises a communication module configured to connect the plurality of sensors (102) with the processor (106).

3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1 further comprising a battery that is configured to provide power supply to the system (100).
