Abstract
A relay device (10A, 10D) receives a time synchronization message on each of a plurality of time synchronization networks (101A, 101B) using different time synchronization profiles. On the basis of the time synchronization messages on the plurality of time synchronization networks (101A, 101B), the relay device (10A, 10D) selects a grandmaster to use for time synchronization from among respective grandmasters (102A, 102B) on the plurality of time synchronization networks (101A, 101B).
