Abstract
Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) obtains a first measurement of a positioning reference signal (PRS) resource in a first subset of contiguous physical resource blocks (PRBs) of a set of contiguous PRBs, wherein the set of contiguous PRBs spans an entire bandwidth of the PRS resource, and wherein the PRS resource is transmitted in each PRB of the set of contiguous PRBs, obtains a second measurement of the PRS resource in a second subset of contiguous PRBs of the set of contiguous PRBs, wherein the first subset of contiguous PRBs and the second subset of contiguous PRBs are in adjacent slots, and combines at least the first measurement and the second measurement to obtain a measurement of the PRS resource.
