Abstract

This invention introduces a real-time secure text transmission system using video steganography to embed sensitive text data within video streams for confidential communication. The system leverages video frames to hide information without affecting the video quality, making the presence of hidden data undetectable by conventional means. The system supports real-time embedding and extraction of text data, making it suitable for live streaming, video conferencing, and pre-recorded video transmission. Key features include high embedding capacity, robustness against video compression and processing, and the integration of encryption for added security, ensuring that even if the hidden data is discovered, it remains protected. The system operates with low computational overhead and can be deployed on various hardware platforms while maintaining seamless integration with existing video systems like CCTV networks, streaming services, or video conferencing platforms. This invention is ideal for secure communication in environments such as military operations, corporate communications, government agencies, and healthcare, where real-time, confidential data exchange is crucial. The system offers a scalable, efficient, and stealthy solution for transmitting sensitive information without detection.

Specification

Description:The Real-Time Secure Text Transmission Using Video Steganography system in Fig. 1 enables the secure and undetectable transmission of sensitive text data by embedding it within video streams. This is achieved through video steganography, a method that hides information within the frames of a video file without altering the perceptible quality of the video, making the presence of hidden data virtually unnoticeable.
Key Components and Features:
1. Real-time Text Embedding:
o The system embeds sensitive text data into individual video frames during live video streaming or video playback, ensuring that the hidden information is transmitted in real time without delays.
2. Steganographic Algorithm:
o A robust steganographic algorithm is employed to insert the text data into the least noticeable portions of video frames, such as pixel values or color variations, without affecting the visual quality of the video.
3. High Embedding Capacity:
o By utilizing multiple frames in a video file, the system provides high data capacity, allowing for the secure transmission of large amounts of text or other sensitive data over an extended video stream.
4. Real-time Data Extraction:
o On the receiver's side, the system extracts the hidden text in real time as the video is being streamed or played, enabling the seamless recovery of the embedded information.
5. Encryption for Enhanced Security:
o For added security, the embedded text data can be encrypted before insertion into the video, ensuring that even if the hidden data is discovered, it remains protected through encryption.
6. Resilience to Compression and Processing:
o The system is designed to withstand common video processing techniques, such as compression, format conversion, and transcoding, ensuring that the hidden data remains intact during video transmission, storage, or manipulation.
The operational performance of the Real-Time Secure Text Transmission Using Video Steganography system in Fig. 2 is optimized for high-speed, secure, and undetectable transmission of sensitive text data within video streams. The system ensures real-time communication with robust security and minimal impact on the quality of the video content.
Key Aspects of Operational Performance:
1. Real-Time Embedding and Extraction
• The system is designed to handle the embedding of text data into video frames in real time, ensuring that there is no perceptible delay in video streaming or playback. The embedding process is performed dynamically as the video is being transmitted, making it suitable for live communication scenarios.
• On the receiving end, the system allows for immediate extraction of the hidden data as the video is streamed or played back, ensuring that the sensitive text can be retrieved in real time without interrupting the video.
2. Stealth and Undetectability
• The steganographic method used in the system ensures that the hidden text is embedded in a way that does not affect the visual or audio quality of the video. This makes the hidden data virtually undetectable through standard video analysis techniques, providing high levels of stealth.
• The changes made to individual video frames are subtle and distributed across multiple frames, reducing the likelihood of detection even with advanced forensic techniques.
3. High Embedding Capacity
• Video files, by nature, consist of thousands of frames, each providing an opportunity to hide small amounts of text. This gives the system a high capacity for embedding sensitive data compared to other forms of steganography (such as images or audio).
• The system can securely transmit large amounts of text over the course of a video stream without raising suspicion, making it suitable for use in scenarios that require the exchange of detailed or complex information.
4. Encryption for Enhanced Security
• In addition to steganography, the system allows for the encryption of the text data before it is embedded into the video, adding a secondary layer of security. This ensures that even if the hidden data is detected, it remains inaccessible without the decryption key.
• The combination of encryption and steganography provides a dual-layer defense against both detection and unauthorized access to the data.
5. Resilience to Video Compression and Processing
• The system is designed to be robust against video compression and processing techniques commonly used in real-world applications, such as transcoding, format conversion, and compression. The hidden data is embedded in a way that ensures it survives these transformations without being corrupted or lost.
• This feature is crucial for real-time streaming over low-bandwidth networks or when using compressed video formats, where the video may undergo significant processing before reaching the recipient.
, C , C , Claims:
1. We claim that this method enables the transmission of substantial volumes of sensitive data.
2. We claim that the system ensure that the system can handle multiple video streams simultaneously
3. We claim that the invention provides a reliable and secure method for transmitting sensitive information
