REAL-TIME INFECTION MONITORING & DETECTION SYSTEM FOR SERICULTURE

ORDINARY APPLICATION

Published

date

Filed on 28 October 2024

Abstract

This invention is about an enhanced sericulture monitoring system concerned with the real-time control of the environment and healthcare of silkworms, wherein sensors and cameras are included besides a mobile application in order to achieve this integration. The system hereby gathers data from temperature and humidity sensors (103) and compares this data against threshold values previously configured. In relation to which, if these values are out of the desired range, then alerts are sent to the owner through a mobile application for immediate taking action (104). Likewise, through cameras (101) different images are captured for detecting any infections in silkworms, plus all data is processed and updated via the application software so that optimum conditions for cocoon production can be met, along with effective sericulture management.

Specification

Description:This invention integrates AI, ML, DL and environment monitoring which will help farmers detect infected silkworms and make predictions regarding future conditions. Analysis of high-resolution images of silkworms using AI at the early stages of infection by discoloration is used for categorization as healthy, mildly infected, or severely infected. Once the threshold of infection exceeds a certain limit, a notification with the recommended action is sent to the farmer's smartphone. , C , Claims:1) Real-Time Infection Monitoring and Detection System for Sericulture based
on micro camera (100) comprises:
i. The micro-camera (101) captures surveillance or images to detect any infections or external agents affecting the culture;
ii. The temperature and humidity sensor (103) reads the temperature and humidity data and validates whether it is within the acceptable range as per the configuration;
iii. The controller board (102) collects data from the various components and feeds it to the application. The application (104) developed which takes the inputs from various components and sends suggestions and alerts as per the instructions;

2) Real-Time Infection Monitoring and Detection for Sericulture based on (100) as claimed in claim 1 uses an application (104) to validate the sensor data is within the configured range or not. If not, it sends the alert to the owner's mobile application;

3) Real-Time Infection Monitoring and Detection System for Sericulture based on (100) as claimed in claim 1 collects data from temperature monitoring sensor (103), and checks if the value is out of the range, alert notification sent to the owner's mobile application so that the sericulture setup can be given adequate care;

4) Real-Time Infection Monitoring and Detection System for Sericulture based on (100) as claimed in claim 1 collects the information from the individual components which comprise of the camera (101), the temperature and the humidity sensors (103) processes the information received and sends it to the application to send alerts and notifications along with updates of the current status of the culture; and

5) Real-Time Infection Monitoring and Detection System for Sericulture based on (100) as claimed in claim 1 receives data from the controller to check if the data collected is within the range or not. If the temperature value varies much from the desired conditions, then it updates and sends alert messages to the mobile application so that the temperature can be regulated. If the humidity sensor (103) value crosses the desired conditions, it notifies the user on the application so provide appropriate regulation.
