[0020] The present invention relates to a personal belonging tracking device that is capable of tracking any type of personal belongings of a user in an automated manner as per the user requirement. Additionally, the proposed device also gives a haptic feedback to the user regarding possessing of a commodity which belongs to the user, in case the voice commands are being ignored by a concerned person with whom the belonging is present.
[0021] Referring to Figure 1, an isometric view of a personal belonging tracking device, comprising a card 1 installed with a slit for accommodating a tag, an artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 2 integrated with the card 1, an air compressor configured on the card 1 linked with plurality of inflatable units 3, a pair of rods 4 arranged horizontally along both the side of the slit, and a panel 5 hinged on the card 1 via motorized hinge.
[0022] The device disclosed herein comprises of a card 1 installed with a slit for accommodating a tag which is paired with a user interface installed in a computing unit that is accessed by a user. The card 1 along with the tag is placed by the user on any type of personal belongings of which the user needs to keep a track. The card 1 is constructed from sturdy and robust material which includes, but is not limited to high-grade engineered plastics like polycarbonate or reinforced nylon. These materials offer strength and rigidity to the card 1 making it resistant to mechanical stress and pressure. The surface of the card 1 is coated with material like Teflon or other low-friction coatings to improve wear resistance and reduce friction.
[0023] Vibration-dampening materials are integrated into the card 1 to minimize noise and shaking of the platform during operations, thereby enhancing user comfort and machine longevity. An artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 2 is integrated with the card 1 for capturing and processing multiple images of the tag placed inside the slit and a microcontroller linked with the module 2, based on the processed images evaluates whether the tag is properly placed or not and in case of successful placement, generates a relative command.
[0024] The image capturing module 2 consists of multiple high-resolution cameras for capturing multiple images from different angles and perspectives and providing comprehensive coverage of the card 1. The image capturing module 2 captures multiple images of the card 1 from various angles simultaneously. Before analysis, the captured image goes through pre-processing steps to enhance image quality which includes adjusting brightness and contrast and removing any distortions.
[0025] The processed images are then sent to the processor linked with the image capturing module 2. The processor processes the captured images of the tag by means of an artificial intelligence protocol encrypted within the microcontroller for detecting tag is properly placed or not. The microcontroller uses artificial intelligence protocol like Convolution Neural Network (CNN) for detecting distinctive patterns or characteristics and tag is properly placed or not. An air compressor is configured on the card 1 linked with plurality of inflatable units 3 positioned with the slit, and the air compressor is directed by the microcontroller to release compressed air within the units 3 to inflate the units 3 to securely grip the placed tag within the slit.
[0026] The inflating unit 3 comprises of an air compressor which extracts the air from surrounding and increases the pressure of the air by reducing the volume of the air and which is further injected in the members. Further, the inflatable units 3 are laminated of multiple thin polymeric films, when air is inserted in the inflatable units 3 by means of air compressor, the films are puffed and the inflatable units 3 becomes soft and that provides the comfort to the user. A pair of rods 4 are arranged horizontally along both the side of the slit, wherein the rods 4 are mapped with a motorized slider that enables a pair of pins engaged with a sheet to translate for extending the sheet over the tag, when the tag and/or card 1 is not in use for avoiding accumulation of any dirt/dust present on the card 1 and tag.
[0027] The rods 4 mentioned above basically consist of multiple cylindrical sections with one section sliding inside the other. The sections are basically made of materials that may include but are not limited to metals and lightweight alloys. The telescopic rods 4 as mentioned herein are powered by a pneumatic unit that utilizes compressed air to extend and retract the rods 4. The air cylinder of the pneumatic unit contains a piston that moves back and forth within the cylinder. The cylinder is connected to one end of the telescopic rods 4. The piston is attached to the telescopically operated rods 4 and its movement is controlled by the flow of compressed air. To extend the telescopic rods 4 the piston activates the air valve to allow compressed air to flow into the chamber behind the piston.
[0028] As the pressure increases in the chamber, the piston pushes the telescopic rods 4 to the desired length. By controlling the flow of compressed air and the position of the piston, the telescopic rod length is adjusted. The motorized sliding unit consists of a motor, and a rail unit integrated with ball bearings to allow smooth linear movement. The microcontroller actuates the motorized sliding unit to adjust in accordance with the size of the putty plate. As the motor rotates the rotational motion of the motor is converted into linear motion through a pair of belts and linkages.
[0029] This linear motion provides a stable track and enables a pair of pins engaged with a sheet to translate for extending the sheet over the tag. A pressure sensor is embedded with the card 1 for detecting pressure applied on the card 1 during performing any sort of day-to-day task, and the microcontroller linked with pressure sensor processes the detected pressure and in case the detected pressure is determined to be above a threshold level, then the microcontroller directs a panel 5 hinged on the card 1 via motorized hinge to encase the card 1 completely for avoiding any type of damage to the card 1 and tag.
[0030] The pressure sensor is strategically positioned within the card 1 to accurately detecting pressure applied on the card 1 during performing any sort of day-to-day task. The data from the pressure sensor is transmitted to the microcontroller which processes the information in real time. Depending upon the amount of pressure exerted on the card 1 the microcontroller directs a panel 5 hinged on the card 1 via motorized hinge to encase the card 1 completely for avoiding any type of damage to the card 1 and tag. Further, the card 1 is installed with a speaker that produces voice commands, in case the user raise a request over the interface regarding finding out of said belonging.
[0031] The speaker is capable of producing clear and natural sound and is capable of adjusting its volume based on ambient noise levels. The speaker consists of audio information, which is in the form of recorded voice, synthesized voice, or other sounds, generated or stored as digital data. This data is often in the form of an audio file. The digital audio data is sent to a digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The DAC converts the digital data into analog electrical signals. The analog signal is often weak and needs to be amplified. An amplifier boosts the strength to a level so that the speaker drives it effectively. The amplified audio signal is then sent to the speaker. The core of the speaker is an electromagnet attached to a flexible cone. These sound waves travel through the air as pressure waves and are picked by the user's ear. Thereafter, in case the voice commands are being ignored by a concerned person with whom the belonging is present, then the card 1 is mapped with vibrating units that are vibrated to an optimal level for giving a haptic feedback to the person regarding possessing of a commodity which belongs to the user.
[0032] In the device discussed above, there is a battery associated with the device that supplies current to all the components that need electric power to perform their functions and operation in an efficient manner. The battery utilized here is generally a dry battery which is made up of Lithium-ion material that gives the device a long-lasting as well as an efficient DC (Direct Current) current which helps every component to function properly in an efficient manner. The device is battery-operated and does not need any electrical voltage to function. Hence the presence of the battery leads to the portability of the device i.e., the user is able to place as well as move the device from one place to another as per the requirements.
[0033] The present invention works well in following manner, where the proposed device comprises of the card 1 installed with the slit for accommodating the tag which is paired with the user interface that is accessed by the user, the card 1 along with the tag is placed by the user on any type of personal belongings of which the user needs to keep the track, the artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 2 to evaluate whether the tag is properly placed or not, and the air compressor with plurality of inflatable units 3 to release compressed air within the units 3 to inflate the units 3 to securely grip the placed tag within the slit. the pair of rods 4, with the motorized slider that enables the pair of pins engaged with the sheet to translate for extending the sheet over the tag, when the tag and/or card 1 is not in use for avoiding accumulation of any dirt/dust present on the card 1 and tag, the pressure sensor for detecting pressure applied on the card 1 during performing any sort of day-to-day task, the panel 5 via motorized hinge to encase the card 1 completely for avoiding any type of damage to the card 1 and tag, the speaker that produces voice commands in case the user raise the request over the interface regarding finding out of the belonging, the vibrating units 3 that are vibrated to the optimal level for giving the haptic feedback to the person regarding possessing of the commodity which belongs to the user, and the battery that powers all electrical and electronically operated components of the device.
[0034] Although the field of the invention has been described herein with limited reference to specific embodiments, this description is not meant to be construed in a limiting sense.
