Abstract
Particles comprise graphite (A) and particles (B) containing silicon elements, and have a chromaticity b* of 2.0 or less. The particles preferably have a chromaticity b* of 0.2-1.1 and a chromaticity a* of 0.2-1.2. Provided is a method for manufacturing a secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte, wherein the negative electrode includes a current collector and a negative electrode active material layer formed on the current collector, and the negative electrode active material layer contains the graphite.
