Abstract
Provided is an optical resin with which the occurrence of birefringence due to stresses such as an internal stress and an external stress can be suppressed. Provided is an optical resin wherein, regarding the 13C-NMR spectrum of the optical resin, when the range in which the chemical shift is 141-147 ppm is defined as a first range and the range in which the chemical shift is 135-141 ppm is defined as a second range, the ratio of the peak area of a peak in the first range to the peak area of a peak in the second range is not greater than 0.55.
