ABSTRACT An online voting system (100) comprising a user interface (102) configured to authenticate a voter based on one or more identity credentials, a ballot device (104) communicatively coupled to the user interface, wherein the ballot device is configured to receive the vote selection input from the voter, a communication module (106) configured to transfer the one or more identity credentials and the vote selection input to a central server (108) and at least one processor (110) coupled to the central server (108), wherein the at least one processor (110) is configured to integrate the one or more identity credentials and the vote selection input from the voter, verify the vote selection input with respect to the one or more identity credentials of the voter, determine quantity of the vote selection input and display the quantity of the vote selection input on the user interface (102). <>

[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of voting system and in particular relates to an online voting system that helps in collection and counting of votes without bias.
BACKGROUND

[0003] Online voting is an emerging field in modern electoral systems, with potential to increase accessibility, efficiency, and security in the voting process. Traditional voting methods, which rely on in-person attendance at polling stations and manual vote counting , Claims:1. An online voting system (100), comprising:
a user interface (102) configured to authenticate a voter based on one or more identity credentials;
a ballot device (104) communicatively coupled to the user interface, wherein the ballot device is configured to receive the vote selection input from the voter;
a communication module (106) configured to transfer the one or more identity credentials and the vote selection input to a central server (108); and
at least one processor (110) coupled to the central server (108), wherein the at least one processor (110) is configured to:
integrate the one or more identity credentials and the vote selection input from the voter;
verify the vote selection input with respect to the one or more identity credentials of the voter;
determine quantity of the vote selection input; and
display the quantity of the vote selection input on the user interface (102).
