2. The system of claim 1, further including surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) to analyze the surface chemistry of CuO nanoparticles, identifying molecular vibrations and functional groups.
3. The system of claim 1, wherein X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) is used to measure the elemental composition and oxidation states of the CuO nanoparticles.
