NON-CELL-DEFINING SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL BLOCK (NCD-SSB) SIGNALING FOR NEIGHBORING CELLS FOR POSITIONING

Abstract

Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives first configuration information for a first positioning reference signal (PRS) resource transmitted by a first neighboring transmission-reception point (TRP), the first configuration information indicating a first quasi-co-location (QCL) relation between the first PRS resource and a first synchronization signal block (SSB) transmitted by the first neighboring TRP, wherein the first SSB is a non-cell-defining SSB (NCD-SSB), and obtains a first positioning measurement of the first PRS resource based on a QCL relation between the first PRS resource and an SSB transmitted by the first neighboring TRP.
