NETWORK SHARING IN UE-TO-NETWORK RELAY SCENARIO

Abstract

Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for network sharing in U2N relay scenario. In example embodiments, a first network device receives, from a first terminal device via a second terminal device, or from a third network device, a first message including information for determining a target network device for the first terminal device. The first network device determines, based on the first message, that the target network device for the first terminal device is a second network device. The first network device transmits, to the second network device, a second message indicating that the first terminal device intends to communicate with the second network device via the second terminal device and the first network device. Then the second network device transmits, to a third network device, a third message requesting to configure at least one communication channel between the first network device and the second terminal device and/or at least one communication channel between the first terminal device and the second terminal device. Accordingly, the third network device configures, based on the third message, the at least one communication channel between the first network device and the second terminal device and/or the at least one communication channel between the first terminal device and the second terminal device. Further, the third network device transmits, to the second network device, a fourth message including information for configuring the at least one communication channel between the first network device and the second terminal device and/or the at least one communication channel between the first terminal device and the second terminal device. Moreover, the second network device transmits, towards the first terminal device, a fifth message for configuring the at least one communication channel between the first terminal device and the second terminal device.
