Specification

Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to Composite materials, specifically natural fibre reinforced composite for structural applications in automotive, aerospace, construction, and consumer industries.
BACKGROUND

[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Traditional composite materials face limitations due to environmental concerns and insufficient strength-to-weight ratios in sustainable alternatives. Natural fibre composites, which utilize fibres like jute and basalt, provide an eco-fri , Claims:WE CLAIM:
1. A natural fibre reinforced composite, comprising:
a mixture of one or more natural fibres treated with sodium hydroxide and glycine to obtain a fibre-matrix adhesion,
an epoxy matrix mixed with the fibre-matrix adhesion and reinforced with silicon dioxide nanoparticles,
wherein the composite demonstrates improved tensile strength, Young's modulus, and flexural modulus compared to untreated natural fibre composites.

2. The composite as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more natural fibres include jute and basalt fibres.

3. The composite as claimed in claim 1, wherein the weight percentage of the silicon dioxide nanoparticles is in the range of 3-5%.

4. The composite as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sodium hydroxide treatment of jute fibres is carried out at a concentration of 0.5% and a duration of 24 hours, followed by rinsing to achieve a neutral pH.

5. The composite as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more natural fibres are layered in an alternating sequence within the epoxy
