MOBILE APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING MATERIALS IN ROAD BUILDING

Abstract

A mobile apparatus for producing materials in road building comprises a metal shell having external dimensions that correspond to the dimensions of a 20-foot shipping container. Two hoppers for inert materials are arranged in mirror symmetry with one another on a common frame and are attached at the top to the shell. Disposed below each hopper, at an angle of 15-45°, is a metering conveyor. Disposed below the top point of the metering conveyors but above a mixing chamber is a transfer conveyor. The hoppers have a cross section in the shape of an irregular trapezoid with the smaller base at the bottom. The four walls or faces of a hopper are inclined at different angles. Disposed below the hoppers, along the longitudinal axis of the apparatus, is a mixing chamber having two bladed shafts. The mixing chamber is mounted on its own frame, on which a metered water dispensing assembly and a metered organic binder dispensing assembly are arranged. A discharging conveyor is comprised of three parts that are connected by movable joints, wherein one part of the conveyor is positioned below a discharge port of the mixing chamber, and the two other parts are capable of being arranged at an angle of 25-45° relative to the mixing chamber.
