METHODS FOR CONTROLLING RELEASE OF SOURCE SECONDARY NODE, AND APPARATUS

Abstract

Disclosed in the embodiments of the present disclosure are methods for controlling release of a source secondary node, which can be applied to the technical field of communications. A method executed by a source master node comprises: on the basis of an instruction information used for instructing the source master node to initiate a release process of a source secondary node, initiating the release process of the source secondary node. Therefore, the source master node is triggered by the instruction information to initiate the source secondary node to release resources of a terminal device at a correct occasion, the source secondary node is prevented from releasing the resources of the terminal device too early, and the influence on the throughput of the terminal device is reduced.
