METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR CONFIGURING UPLINK POSITIONING REFERENCE SIGNAL, AND DEVICES AND STORAGE MEDIUM

Abstract

The present application relates to the field of mobile communications. Provided are methods and apparatuses for configuring an uplink positioning reference signal, and devices and a storage medium. A method comprises: receiving a message, which is used for configuring an uplink positioning reference signal (202), wherein the message comprises an uplink positioning reference signal configuration of the uplink positioning reference signal and a valid range and/or a valid time associated with the uplink positioning reference signal configuration, the valid range is used for indicating a zone range in which the uplink positioning reference signal configuration is valid, and the valid time is used for indicating a time period in which the uplink positioning reference signal configuration is valid. When an uplink positioning reference signal configuration is valid, a terminal device can continuously use the uplink positioning reference signal configuration. Even if the terminal device performs cell reselection, the terminal device can still continue using the uplink positioning reference signal configuration, such that frequent information exchange with a network device is avoided, thereby reducing the power consumption of the terminal device.
