A method (100) for upgrading the fermentation process with Cu+ immobilized charcoal, comprising: preparing a charcoal substrate and immobilizing Cu+ ions onto the surface of the charcoal particles; introducing the Cu+ immobilized charcoal into a fermentation medium; controlling the release of Cu+ ions into the fermentation system to optimize microbial activity; maintaining the fermentation process conditions to promote high product yield and low contaminant levels.

[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of biotechnology and fermentation processes, specifically to a method for upgrading the fermentation process by utilizing Cu+ immobilized charcoal. The invention aims to enhance the efficiency of fermentation by improving the process control, reducing contaminants, and promoting better yields through the application of Cu+ ions immobilized on charcoal.

controlling the release of Cu+ ions into the fermentation system to optimize microbial activity;
maintaining the fermentation process conditions to promote high product yield and low contaminant levels.
2. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the charcoal substrate is activated charcoal or a porous carbon material.
3. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the immobilization of Cu+ ions is achieved through chemical binding or physical adsorption.
4. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fermentation medium is used for the production of biofuels, food products, or pharmaceuticals.
