A method (100) for steering a vehicle. Further, the method comprising connecting the front wheels of the vehicle using a steering linkage system that allows differential angular movement during turns. The linkage system ensures that the inner front wheel turns at a greater angle than the outer front wheel, allowing both wheels to trace circular paths with a common centre. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of adjusting the steering input to modify the angle of the front wheels based on the desired turning radius. [0001] This invention generally relates to the field of vehicle steering systems and, in particular, to a method for implementing Ackermann steering geometry that enhances vehicle manoeuvrability and stability while minimizing tire wear during turns.

1. A method (100) for steering a vehicle, the method comprising the steps of:
connecting the front wheels of the vehicle using a steering linkage system that allows differential angular movement during turns, wherein the linkage system ensures that the inner front wheel turns at a greater angle than the outer front wheel, allowing both wheels to trace circular paths with a common centre;
adjusting the steering input to modify the angle of the front wheels based on the desired turning radius;
monitoring tire slip during turns to minimize lateral tire wear and enhance handling;
adapting the steering mechanism for various vehicle types, including go-karts and automobiles, to improve manoeuvrability and stability.
2. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the steering linkage system includes a variable ratio mechanism that adjusts the steering sensitivity based on the vehicle's speed.
