Specification

Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to the field of automated fabric care solutions and, in particular, relates to a method for operating a self-ironing machine that incorporates intelligent fabric identification and temperature control to enhance user convenience and efficiency while minimizing the risk of fabric damage.
BACKGROUND
[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Traditional ironing methods often require significant manual effort and can lead to inconsistent results, including , Claims:1. A method (100) for self-ironing fabric using a self-ironing machine, the method comprising the steps of:
selecting a desired ironing temperature via a user interface of the self-ironing machine, which includes a cloth identification sensor;
placing a fabric item on the heating plate of the self-ironing machine;
activating the heating plate to reach the selected temperature and utilizing the cloth identification sensor to automatically adjust the heating roller's operational parameters based on the detected fabric type;
engaging the heating roller to apply heat and pressure to the fabric item, followed by initiating a cooling process to preserve the fabric's integrity; and
providing visual feedback to the user regarding the ironing status and completion of the process.

2. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the user interface further comprises dedicated buttons for specific fabric types, enabling the user to customize the ironing process based on the selected fabric's requirements.
