ABSTRACT A method (100) for securing information through advanced video steganography, the method (100) comprising the steps of processing a video by transforming the video frames into the frequency domain using discrete cosine transform (DCT); encrypting the information to be hidden using a secure encryption algorithm; embedding the encrypted information into selected DCT coefficients of the video frames; reconstructing the stego-video from the modified DCT coefficients; extracting the encrypted information from the stego-video by applying inverse DCT to the modified frames and decrypting the extracted data. <>

[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of data security and cryptography, specifically to a method for securing information through advanced video steganography and encryption techniques.
BACKGROUND

reconstructing the stego-video from the modified DCT coefficients; and
extracting the encrypted information from the stego-video by applying inverse DCT to the modified frames and decrypting the extracted data.

2. The method (100) of claim 1, further comprising applying error correction techniques to improve the robustness of the embedded information against video processing attacks.
