ABSTRACT
A method (100) for securing information through advanced video steganography, the method (100) comprising the steps of processing a video by transforming the video frames into the frequency domain using discrete cosine transform (DCT); encrypting the information to be hidden using a secure encryption algorithm; embedding the encrypted information into selected DCT coefficients of the video frames; reconstructing the stego-video from the modified DCT coefficients; extracting the encrypted information from the stego-video by applying inverse DCT to the modified frames and decrypting the extracted data.
