Abstract
ABSTRACT A method 100 for reducing noise in free space optical (FSO) communication, comprising the steps of generating a pseudo-random bit sequence to simulate test data, applying Non-Return to Zero (NRZ) Pulse Generation for stable signal formation, modulating the generated signal using both amplitude modulation (AM) and frequency modulation, converting the modulated signal to an optical form using a continuous wave (CW) laser, transmitting the amplified optical signal through an FSO channel and regenerating the received signal using reshaping, retiming, and re-amplification.

Specification
Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of Free Space Optical (FSO) communication and more specifically to a method of reducing signal noise using amplification and modulation techniques to improve signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and communication reliability.
BACKGROUND
[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Free Space Optical (FSO) communication transmits data via light over the atmosphere, providing a high-speed alternative to wired connections. However, environmental interferen , Claims:WE CLAIM:
1. A method 100 for reducing noise in free space optical (FSO) communication, comprising the steps of:
generating a pseudo-random bit sequence to simulate test data,
applying Non-Return to Zero (NRZ) Pulse Generation for stable signal formation,
modulating the generated signal using both amplitude modulation (AM) and frequency modulation (FM),
converting the modulated signal to an optical form using a continuous wave (CW) laser,
transmitting the amplified optical signal through an FSO channel; and
regenerating the received signal using reshaping, retiming, and re-amplification.
2. The method 100 as claimed in claim 1, further comprising applying both electric and optical amplifiers to enhance Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) by selectively boosting signal strength relative to noise levels based on interference analysis.
3. The method 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the received signal is processed through a PIN Photodiode and Bessel filter to eliminate unwanted high-frequency noise.
