[0001] This invention generally relates to fluid loss control additives for drilling fluids, specifically organic-based additives derived from cost effective and sustainable agricultural waste.
BACKGROUND

[0003] Drilling fluids are critical for efficient drilling operations in the oil and gas industry, where fluid loss control is essential to maintain wellbore stability and minimize formation damage. Conventional fluid loss additives are often synthetic and , Claims:WE CLAIM:
1. A method 100 for producing organic-based fluid loss additives for drilling fluids, comprising:
processing groundnut husk, guava leaves, and eucalyptus bark to form fine powders;
treating the powders to extract bioactive compounds and remove impurities; and
mixing the treated powders with a drilling fluid base to create an additive that enhances fluid loss control.
2. The method 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the groundnut husk is treated with sodium hydroxide solution, filtered, washed, and neutralized before incorporation into the drilling fluid.
3. The method 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the guava leaves are boiled and centrifuged to extract bioactive compounds before incorporation.
4. The method 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the eucalyptus bark is treated with hydrochloric and sulfuric acid to enhance solubility and particle dispersion.
