Abstract

ABSTRACT A method (100) for producing an innovative biodegradable tea bag. selecting biodegradable materials for the construction of the tea bag. The materials are chosen from the group consisting of plant-based fibers, recycled paper, and compostable polymers. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of forming the selected biodegradable materials into a pouch structure suitable for containing tea leaves. The pouch structure is designed to allow optimal infusion of flavors during brewing. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of sealing the pouch structure using a unique sealing method that ensures the integrity of the tea bag during brewing while preventing the release of harmful substances into the tea.
