Abstract

ABSTRACT A method (100) for optimizing plant growth, the method (100) comprising identifying one or more allelopathic plant species, applying a time-delay differential equation model to predict the influence of the one or more allelopathic plant species on a targeted plant species and adjusting an introduction timing and a density of the allelopathic plant species to control allelochemical concentration levels and enhance stability of the targeted plant species.

Specification

Description:
FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to optimization of plant growth and in particular relates to a method for optimizing plant growth in presence of an allelopathic plant species.
BACKGROUND

[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] Agricultural productivity and plant health are influenced by various biotic and abiotic factors, including nutrient availability, water levels, light, and temperature. In addition to these environmental factors, interactions between plants can significantly , Claims:1. A method (100) for optimizing plant growth, the method (100) comprising:
identifying one or more allelopathic plant species;
applying a time-delay differential equation model to predict the influence of the one or more allelopathic plant species on a targeted plant species; and
adjusting an introduction timing and a density of the allelopathic plant species to control allelochemical concentration levels and enhance stability of the targeted plant species.

2. The method (100) for optimizing plant growth as claimed in claim 1, wherein the time-delay differential equation model further includes parameters for adjusting carrying capacity and growth rates of the targeted plant species based on soil nutrient availability and environmental factors.
