[0001] This invention generally relates to the field of electric vehicles and, in particular, to a method for operating an electric vehicle go-kart that utilizes a battery management system to enhance performance, safety, and energy efficiency while promoting sustainable transportation solutions.
BACKGROUND

[0003] The increasing demand for environmentally friendly transportation solutions has led to significant advancements in electric vehicle technology, in , Claims:WE CLAIM:
1. A method (100) for operating an electric vehicle go-kart, the method comprising the steps of:
using a 5KW, 48V brushless DC motor for propulsion;
monitoring battery performance via a battery management system (BMS) that tracks voltage, current, and temperature;
utilizing regenerative braking to recover kinetic energy during deceleration;
implementing Ackermann steering for improved manoeuvrability; and
incorporating safety features in the BMS to prevent overheating and overcharging.

2. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the battery management system (BMS) includes balancing circuits that equalize the charge among individual lithium-ion battery cells to maximize performance and lifespan.
