Abstract
ABSTRACT A method (100) for operating a solar-powered refrigeration system. Further, the method comprising providing a solar panel to convert solar energy into electrical energy. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of storing the electrical energy generated by the solar panel in a battery system. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of utilizing a Peltier module powered by the stored electrical energy to create a temperature differential for refrigeration. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of dissipating heat from the hot side of the Peltier module using a heat sink. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of monitoring the internal temperature of the refrigeration compartment using a thermocouple to control the operation of the Peltier module based on the desired temperature set point.

Specification
Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to the field of renewable energy systems and, in particular, to a method for operating a solar-powered refrigeration system that utilizes solar energy to provide efficient and environmentally friendly cooling solutions, thereby reducing reliance on conventional energy sources and minimizing the carbon footprint associated with refrigeration processes.
BACKGROUND
[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] The increasing demand for refrigeration in various , Claims:1. A method (100) for operating a solar-powered refrigeration system, the method comprising the steps of:
providing a solar panel to convert solar energy into electrical energy;
storing the electrical energy generated by the solar panel in a battery system;
utilizing a Peltier module powered by the stored electrical energy to create a temperature differential for refrigeration;
dissipating heat from the hot side of the Peltier module using a heat sink; and
monitoring the internal temperature of the refrigeration compartment using a thermocouple to control the operation of the Peltier module based on the desired temperature set point.
2. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the solar panel is mounted at an angle optimized for maximum solar exposure, and the battery system is equipped with a charge controller to prevent overcharging and ensure efficient energy storage.
