Abstract

ABSTRACT A method (100) for inducing antibiotic stress tolerance, the method (100) comprising the steps of cultivating millet plant seeds in a controlled environment, exposing the millet plant seeds to a pre-defined concentration of abiotic stress agents, regulating one or more factors of the controlled environment and monitoring a physiological response of the millet plant seeds based at least on the pre-defined concentration of abiotic stress agents and the one or more factors. <>

Specification

Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of antibiotic stress tolerance and in particular relates to a method for inducing antibiotic stress tolerance in plants.
BACKGROUND

[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
[0003] The escalating impact of climate change has intensified abiotic stress conditions such as drought and salinity, adversely affecting crop yield and food security worldwide. Traditional cereal crops like rice and wheat often struggle to withstand these harsh conditions, cr , Claims:1. A method (100) for inducing antibiotic stress tolerance, the method (100) comprising the steps of:
cultivating millet plant seeds in a controlled environment;
exposing the millet plant seeds to a pre-defined concentration of abiotic stress agents;
regulating one or more factors of the controlled environment; and
monitoring a physiological response of the millet plant seeds based at least on the pre-defined concentration of abiotic stress agents and the one or more factors.

2. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the abiotic stress agents include polyethylene glycol (PEG) and sodium chloride (NaCl) in the range of 10% - 30% by weight.

3. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more factors include humidity, temperature, and nutrient supply.
