Description:FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0001] This invention generally relates to a field of 3D printing and, in particular, to a method for optimizing the fabrication of biodegradable pin joints using a systematic approach to select materials, process parameters, and experimental designs to enhance mechanical properties and performance.
BACKGROUND

[0003] Traditional methods for fabricating pin joints often rely on non-biodegradable materials and processes that may not offer optimal mechanical p , Claims:1. A method (100) for fabricating biodegradable pin joints, the method (100) comprising:
designing the pin joint;
selecting biodegradable materials;
selecting 3D printer process parameters;
designing experiments using the Taguchi method;
fabricating parts as per the design of experiments (DOE);
testing parts according to ASTM standards; and
optimizing the results to select the best parameters.

2. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the biodegradable materials include PLA, PHA, or other biopolymers.

3. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the 3D printer process parameters include layer height, print speed, infill density, and nozzle temperature.
