Abstract
ABSTRACT A method (100) for enhancing nonlinear optical phenomena in fiber optic communication systems using OptiSystem simulation, comprising: setting up a fiber optic communication model in OptiSystem with varying system parameters; simulating the propagation of optical signals through the fiber to observe nonlinear effects; analyzing the impact of nonlinear phenomena such as four-wave mixing, self-phase modulation, and cross-phase modulation on signal quality; optimizing system parameters to enhance desired nonlinear effects and mitigate adverse impacts; and validating the optimized parameters through additional simulations and performance analysis.
