Further, the method comprising continuously capturing real-time video footage of a work area using a network of high-resolution cameras. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of processing the captured video footage using image processing algorithms to detect and track hand movements within the work area. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of recognizing gestures performed by workers' hands through machine learning techniques applied to the processed video data. Further, the method (100) comprising the steps of generating alerts based on the detected hand movements and recognized gestures, wherein the alerts include visual and auditory signals to notify workers and supervisors of potential hazards.

[0001] This invention generally relates to the field of industrial safety systems and, in particular, relates to a method for enhancing hand safety in industrial environments through the use of computer vision and machine learning technologies that proactively prevent hand-related injuries and improve workplace safety.

[0003] In industrial environments, worker safety is of paramount importance, particularly regarding hand safety, as hands are fre , Claims:1. A method (100) for enhancing hand safety in industrial environments, the method comprising the steps of:
continuously capturing real-time video footage of a work area using a network of high-resolution cameras;
processing the captured video footage using image processing algorithms to detect and track hand movements within the work area;
recognizing gestures performed by workers' hands through machine learning techniques applied to the processed video data;
generating alerts based on the detected hand movements and recognized gestures, wherein the alerts include visual and auditory signals to notify workers and supervisors of potential hazards; and
automatically initiating preventative actions, including stopping or slowing down machinery, in response to detected risks associated with hand movements.

2. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, the auditory alerts include customizable audio signals that can be tailored by workers to suit their preferences and the specific safety requirements of their tasks
