[0003] The increasing demand for convenient transportation solutions has led to the rapid growth of ride-h , Claims:1. A method (100) for managing car rentals via a mobile application, the method comprising the steps of:
allowing users to select a user type (customer or driver) and register through mobile number verification using an SMS-based one-time password (OTP);
enabling location services for real-time tracking of available vehicles displayed on a map based on the user's location;
allowing customers to book rides by selecting a vehicle and confirming the booking via a "Call Taxi" button;
notifying drivers of ride requests with options to accept or decline, and providing real-time updates to customers on the driver's location; and
facilitating payments through multiple options and enabling customers to rate drivers and provide feedback post-ride.

2. The method (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the user registration further includes a step for verifying the user's identity through a captcha challenge prior to sending the SMS-based one-time password (OTP) for enhanced security.
